***Official Oct 2014 SAT Curve and Score Predictions (US ONLY)***

hmm i don’t recall i’m questioning everything i hate life

Prevalence of mistaken thinking is the correct answer but I’m not sure if it was worded exactly like that.I just remember putting misconception. I could be wrong for this one but misconception fits well so idk

@TheCalculator Yeah the prompt was like an ACT prompt, which is really weird. I got the community service one and personally managed to expand the topic and pull a literary and historical example, filling up both pages, but now I’m scared I’ll somehow get penalized for doing that… idk :frowning: By the way, since this is the first time that I took it, the lined pages for the essay were actually much wider than the ones in the blue book, right? Or was I just imagining lol

release of stress of release from stress? which one is it? :(

math should have a good 20 pt curve tbh

@TheCalculator predict my score please!!
CR:-7
Math: -5
Writing: -3 Essay 8

Math curve im praying is something like this
800,780,750,730,710,700

Also is it practical to hope that a -7 or -8 in Critical Reading for this test would be around 690-700?

They might not even give a math curve.

@emersonballer21‌ I’d say yes, it is

@Annl233 This is my first SAT but countless people have been saying that this is one of the hardest maths in a while and that some other test had math that was much easier than that of Saturday but still there was a good curve. Why do u think there might not be a curve?

Might not be because of Dec 2013 @emersonballer21‌ :(

They may give a curve but I don’t know if it’ll be as generous as like 30 points. It takes a lot for a generous curve and it was hard, I agree, but it was only my second test. So they may give a curve but I don’t think it’s going to be as nice a curve as some people think.

Trust me the math curve is a lil more generous than that. Look at my first post;it gives you an accurate representation of the curves. Also, you guys can search “sat score calculator” if you want predictions on your scores.
