General. it is possible to study for math. buy the blue book or a book specific to math. it is easy to raise that by 200 points.

Critical Reading 700 <great improvement from a 520 :) studying vocab words pays off, kids!
Math 680 ewwwww
Writing 690 ewwwwwwwwwww
8 essay

I'm so confused! the first time I took the SAT's, i got a 620 on writing and got a 10 essay. It was a realy bad essay. The second time I took them I got a 710 and a 11 essay. That essay was even worse. This last time that I took them, i was confident that I would have a 12 essay, for it was one of the better (handwritten) essays I've written in my life. I got an 8 :( I have no idea what I did wrong :(. I even used that thing where you blatantly state your thesis in the first sentence and then kind of say "Even though the opposite side has good qualities, my side is better becuase blah blah." And i get an 8. arggggggh

CR:540
M:590
W:670
9 essay

Personally, I thought I did way better in critical reading. I thought my essay would be a tad better than a 9 since it was way better than my previous 8s. I knew I did much worse on math than last time. I'm probably going to retake it in December.

CR: 770
M: 680
W:730
1450/2180
I'm pretty satisfied but I honestly could always do better but 2180 isn't bad for taking it completely cold.

Cr: 680
M: 730
W: 710

2120

Overall, pretty happy I guess since my goal was 2100. But a little disappointed at math. Oh well since it's my first time. Probably not gonna waste time studying to retake. haha. I'm lazy.

CR: 800
M: 690 (I was surprised at that)
W: 700

In june I got
CR:720
M:710
W:700

Best sitting, 2190.
Mix and match 2210.

2070

CR: 680 (from 630 last time)
M: 690
W: 700 (from 630 last time)

So a 120 point jump from last time. I think that what helped was reading a couple of books over the summer and sleeping 9 hours the night before the SAT. :)

DON'T BE DISCOURAGED, ZIGGY METHOD WORKED FOR ME

hey, solast january

i took the test, did my best, and this time... i think i got lucky on some of it, but i imporved 350 POINTS WOOOOOT

this is NOT a paid advertisement by the ziggy method, even if it sounds like it is, especially since it's free on this forum

2390

800M (+140)
790 WR (12 E) (+120)
800CR (+90)

And I got an 800 on verbal and 780 on writing the first time I took it which brings me to a total of 2380, taking my highest scores from each subject. YAY

there is seriously an overabundance of math proficient people on CC

CR: 770

CR: 650 (Thats straight. Was never good at reading anyways)

M: 800 (No comment. 2 busy looking at writing section)

W: 610 7 Essay (Now how the (obscenity) did this happen? I actually liked this section until i saw this b****h of a score. I'm so slow at writing essays. I invested all my time and energy into this section and this is what I get in return. Who made this section up anywayz? Everytime I take this frickin test i always do a lot worse than I expected on writing! U always have to get screwed over some how. The prob wit me was that i wasnt paranoid enough. I honestly though I would get a 700+ in this section. Had like 750s on practice tests. I used to even like it more than math. It was the funnest of the sections for me. I know that 1450 M+V looks nice and good thing that 610 is writing. I really needed a good score cuz my GPA isnt so good. Its a 3.0 unweighted and No, I do not slack off. I just have a learning disability but we'll see if colleges care. We'll c where my ass gets into college. That 1450/1600 looks nice but 2060/2400? Good thing it was the writing section I screwed up on. Good Job to everybody who made it in the struggle. And to the SAT, God bless and RIP. I'M DONE WITH YOU!

620 CR + 100
710 M + 40

700 W + 170

2030 + 310

I was 40 points away from a flag and maybe a retake of the exam.
I am really surprised at my writing score. I was expecting a 740+ on this section.
What happened to the Writing section?
How did any of you guys find your Raw Score and Essay scores. Are those not released until November 11, 2006?

^ Nope, I received an essay subscore and MC #right/80 ...

Precocious, where do you see those numbers?
It tells me that I have to wait...
What is going on?
