Oh! I was able to log into class2014.vassar.edu!

CONGRATULATIONS TO EVERYONE WHO GOT ACCEPTED! And the absolute best of luck to those still waiting!

Hmm. I’m in MN and I haven’t received anything yet. Also waiting on mail from Barnard and Swarthmore, both of which mailed this week too.

I’m worried.

Has anyone been waitlisted? My daughter received the dreaded small envelope but it has more than one piece of paper inside (it seems thicker than a typical rejection). She’s away and I’ve promised not to open any mail, but am curious.

I’m an international and I got in. Now I’ve been accepted to Vassar, Reed, Brandeis and Williams.

**Decision: WAITLISTED **

Can’t put into words how happy I am! Congrats to everyone else who was accepted, and a sincere good luck to those who weren’t.

@beau:
I honestly feel so much better after reading your post! :)

@swampscottsue: I just received my letter from Vassar, and I am waitlisted. From the description you gave, I’m afraid it sounds like your daughter is waitlisted. Mine was a normal size envelope, but obviously contained more than one sheet of paper. Sorry to be the one to say it, but I figured you might want to know. Hopefully she gets in if she really wants to go because I know that I, for one, will not be staying on the waitlist.

The mail isn’t here yet. I went on https://secure3.vassar.edu/congrats2014/ and was able to log in with the ID # I had and it said “You’re in!” But do you get a different code in the mail? Can I trust this?

Thanks brio91. I’m not sure she’s going to stay on the wait list either, but as her mom, I feel a bit better that she wasn’t rejected!

Hi all! I came home to the big envelope from Vassar today! I still have NO clue if I’m going, but I’m pretty excited to have the option.

Was the ID and PIN in the acceptance letter the same one you had before or a new one?

sigh waitlisted… saw a small envelope and i knew it

rejection! Its ok good luck all!!

The congrats page worked, and I got the big envelope. So there seems to be correlation.
