OFFICIAL, OFFICIAL RD DECISIONS - Vassar '14

Congratulations. Can you please confirm that your username and password for the “congrats” page are the same as the ones you originally were provided when you applied? Mail is a day behind here in northern New England, so no envelope until Monday, at least, but we are able to log into the admitted students page using the original username and password.

yes, can anyone confirm that? Our mail is slow here, too.

I was waitlisted :frowning: Im staying on the list though. The letter enclosed stated that out of 7,800 applicants, only 660 were accepted, thus being waitlisted is an accomplishment in it of itself. They also said that 48 waitlisted students were admitted to the class of 2013 last year, so there is hope out there for all us who are floundering in limbo. Hey, ya never know?

Yup, everything was the same.

I can indeed confirm that the Vassar ID number is the same one as originally provided.

Thanks much - and again, congratulations.

Login means nothing. We tried last night could not get in get. Acceptance came today. ID # is the same. I dont see any thing regarding a pin. Keep up hope!

@borghugh:

Can you login now?

That is strange, I also want to know the answer to that question ^^. It’s strange how borghugh couldn’t login last night yet they received an acceptance with the same ID #. But still good news for the rest of us who can’t login!

Well let’s try the converse of the question being so often asked:

If you were rejected/waitlisted, was there ever a time that you were able to log in at congrats2014.vassar.edu? A “yes” response makes the loophole illegitimate; a number of “no” responses will solidify our current beliefs.

Meanwhile, I live in Western CT and have yet to receive my letter. It’s making me rather anxious…

Yes, can log in now.

That’s the quotation? “All admitted students can log into congrats2014.vassar.edu.”

And it was good. (-:

Darn, I just got rejected, small envelope. I really wanted to go to Vassar. Congrats to everyone that was admitted, you’re all going to have a blast!

i can log onto the system, but I haven’t received any email or mail from them as of yet! Mail was just delivered today and nothing, so maybe Monday??
Good luck to everyone :)

I’m in the same situation as you are… (the part about how the mail hasn’t arrived yet)
Let’s wait patiently for Monday xD

Good luck to those who are still waiting and congrats to those who’ve been accepted!!

Got mine today in SoCal. Same ID+PIN.

i could never log in on the site. i’m from southern california; i got waitlisted today and am pretty upset.

I just got my letter today! So excited!

Deferred ED1. Rejected. Crap.

I could log in before, and just got accepted a few minutes ago. Got waitlisted at Oberlin though, threw me for a loop, but I’m overjoyed about Vassar. Congrats to everyone who got accepted. :]
