Advice: Penn is truly a school that appreciates individuals and does not necessarily focus on numbers ( as you can see from my stats page). It looks at more than just standardized test scores and cares about the hard work that you have put in during high school. For those considering applying, don't let statistics deter you; have confidence in yourself and what you have done and go for it. For those who have been accepted, congratulations on your accomplishment!

hey spsdds

good job guys, a lot of u are getting accepted.

Deferred: Wharton
2310 SAT, Rank: 3/800, APs: 5: Bio, Euro, Chem, Calc AB, English Lang. 4: US. 3: Span. Lang.

Too depressed to put up other stuff. Feel worthless.

ACCEPTED: WHARTON

I'll post up stats later

there seems to be a trend that sat scores are becoming less important especically through this thread although the sample is too small to be accurate. any one care to make a compilation of the stats sats similar to tat of dartmouths so we can see if teres a pattern or sumthing?

I just don't get it.

High SAT scores are the worst reason I can think of to reject someone that doesn't cross over into racial discriminatory territory.

It seems like people with lower scores get in, but still, this is absurd.

Maybe they're just letting HYP take us?

Accepted to Wharton, prolly not gonna post stats
I think it's safe to say CC kids killed at Penn this year...lots of acceptances

hi from the stanford thread -
congrats you guys! lots of acceptances on here.
to what someone else said about the trend with the SAT scores, do you think some of you guys could post how many times you've taken the SAT? i always thought that getting a high score after taking the test multiple times counted against you so i wanted to see if that's true with these results.

Musicgal: I took them three times for my high score of 2310.

My highest single-sitting is a 2270, though, so it's not exactly a world of a difference.
