QuenteBoy, is there anything you are not telling us that might have gotten you in, like some important research?

Guys I’m hurt by some of your posts! I filled out the template quickly because I’m about to go out with some friends to celebrate. I did some research with Princeton’s Woodrow Wilson School since sophomore year. It may have helped since my work was published and I became very close to the Department. My junior year I oversaw a sub-committee at the UN over some policy proposals (for minor / random European economic matters). I know my scores are low, but my guidance counselor emphasized that my constant traveling has taken its toll on my schoolwork. My teachers wrote that these inconveniences notwithstanding, I was one of the most brilliant minds they ever met. I didn’t mention on the EC’s in my last post but I’m also an actor. I started my junior year in France but have done mostly high school musical productions. Due to my research and traveling, I didn’t have as much time as other kids to prepare for the SATs. Oh well. I don’t care if you judge me. I know (and the Ivies know) that I’m a very down-to-earth and friendly person with strong values. I’m very sure these qualities came across in my application.

I hope you feel ashamed for assuming that my acceptance makes no sense. Congrats to everyone else!
