Common App Short EC Essay: Volunteering at the hospital/Community service (9/10)
I actually had a lot of fun writing this one.
A Few Short Answers: I know these don’t count for much, but I only chose to elaborate on two: I don’t know if I regret that decision now, but I enjoyed my answers. (8.5/10)
[] Teacher Recommendation: Physics/Math teacher I have known for 3 years: (4.5/10) I struggled a bit in his class so I don’t know if he knows me as an intellectual quite as much, but he can really attest to my hardworking spirit.

[] Interview: 6/10 I was impressed and surprised by how approachable my interviewer was. However, she read questions off of a list and took notes when I answered…I would have preferred a freely-flowing conversation. I was eloquent, but not particularly impressionable. 50 minutes.

[] Why you think you were accepted/waitlisted/rejected:
[li] Where else were you accepted/waitlisted/rejected: SCEA so none! Unless you count ASU Barretts and UA Honors[/li][/ul]
General Comments: I extend my utmost congratulations to those accepted!!! I know everyone has worked SO hard to get where they are, and efforts have finally paid off!! To those deferred/rejected, we still have a sea of options out there (And crossing fingers, Princeton in April)! Woo! The key, I think, is staying motivated. To not be afraid to apply to that extra school, to move that mountain. I feel as if I should enjoy applying to college. After all, the application’s purpose is to show how awesome you are! Yet…I’m still getting there. As cheesy as it is, this is truly not the end, but the beginning of perhaps the greatest journey of our lives, college!
