@AGoodFloridian I came across this thread because I was curious if anyone had gotten accepted…This is absolutely amazing. 13/1400+ applicants. You are truly amazing and such a humble person. Congratulations. I wish you all the best at Princeton.

@AGoodFloridian I will pm you soon! I have a lot of questions for you regarding things I can do this year to make for a stronger application. The good news is, I have not yet taken any SAT or subject tests which is definitely something that will help.

@AGoodFloridian huge congrats on your asmissions comeback (impressive!) what was the 1 thing on your app that helped you turn failure into victory?

@AGoodFloridian Congrats on transferring to Princeton University!

It’s hard to pinpoint one specific moment/aspect in the overall gestalt of any application, really. All of the elements are rooted with each other, and as a whole(not individually) make up the applicant. I don’t want to sound too vague :)) , but I would encourage anyone applying to make it very clear that their choice to apply was very well thought out, and not just because it’s one more reach school you could fit in your list.

@AGoodFloridian

congratulation! I have a question for you.
I’m an international student in California community college. My major is mathematics
As you know, Princeton has topnotch math dept in the world.
I am studying not only in class but also self-study higher mathematics at home.
Btw, my current GPA is 4.0 (this quarter I think my math class will end up with A- or B+)
I know it is extremely difficult and seems to be impossible to go Princeton, but I wanna try like you.
Also, I think internship or other activities are important. However, I can’t get internships in the USA because of my status.
I have heard many times that “Try to find another college”, “You can’t go to Princeton unless you solve one of Millennium prize problems” I’m tired of these negative comments. I already know that.
Could you give me some “good” and “helpful” advice for me?
my story is here

Thank you and enjoy your Princeton life!

Guys, how can I PM to a person here? Should I post comments 10 times…? I was also rejected :((

Looks like, yes) Sorry

Congrats on transferring to Princeton ^:)^ !)

I am an international student. Not sure they usually accept students outside US…but might be wrong. In my case, this reduced my chances to get in as the whole system of education in my country differs from the one in US

I also applied to Yale, Stanford, Cornell, Dartmouth.
