my teacher went over it with us and I don’t remember the numerical value but I remember that it was a trick question

@zenoodle, how was it a trick question? please elucidate…

@magic125 Choice A was chronological narrative, B was philosophical reflection. I guessed B, but are you confident you are looking at the right question?

My worst case scenario, assuming no silly mistakes, which I probably had : 214

I’m fairly certain the general consensus was that the correct answer was chronological narrative (though I still personally thought otherwise, lol) So I’m not sure if that’s incorrect or the choices were actually flipped…)

It was the one were you had to get the bottom to denominator to one right? It was like |x-1000| and it was 1001 right? is that the one that you were referring to? @TheGreatCatsbyx

@TheGreatCatsbyx it was I and III

^ that’s right

I PUT THAT YESSSS @Asutosh11

@zenoodle, oh, I meant the one with a-b and b-c or something like that.
Thanks @asutosh11~ I got that answer!!

Someone has to put a score up tomorrow. Please. Ill find some relief knowing random strangers’ scores at least.

Please. Same man same. I can’t get the PSAT off mind… waiting for my school to hand out scores but please someone post scores once you get them.

@tylerfrenchfrye I believe the question with chronological narrative was one of the first after reading the passage, if this is correct, then it would be question 13,14, or 15. The answer A does not appear as a right answer till question 19, which I don’t believe it was. But you are right, the consensus was it was narrative, so I might be mistaken, or collegeboard put out another sneaky question.

If this thread wasn’t here I think I’d go mad tbh. It’s literally all I’ve been thinking about. I just wanna know how I did.

…but if you check a few pages back, someone said they contacted collegeboard and heard that the answer was chronological narrative…

By this point, I’ve forgotten most the questions so I can’t even remember how well I thought I did. I just need to make the cuttoff for GA which is usually ~216, but from my uncertainty about the writing and struggle with CR im looking at like 210-220 so obviously I’ve been freaking out for like the past 2 weeks. I just need closure.

Yes, I also contacted college board. I asked them 3 questions I had on the reading passage, and the correct answer was chronological narrative.

But is answer choice A actually chronological narrative?? It might’ve been b instead which is #14

And yeah, I saw where someone contacted the ETS and confirmed it. That question, along with the impromptu question, make me feel so stupid. I almost changed my answers 490 times but decided not to. Oh well, it’s all in the books now, that’s how I just have to think about it.

@Asutosh11 What other questions did you ask about?

@magic125 didn’t they say a friend contacted college board and told them? I don’t know how trustworthy that claim is, why would collegeboard give answers? but I hope everyone does well.

Good luck to everyone! Hopefully we get the scores soon. The wait is killing me!
