@Danwgun how do you know the cutoff will likely be lower than usual? There was a drop last year which makes it less likely there will be a drop again this year. I seriously doubt that any state will drop more than a few points and MA is one of the highest cut offs in the country, I think you’d be giving false hope suggesting that a 214 (although a very good score) would make the cut in MA.

I asked my teacher, so I only got my composite. Should have asked for the score breakdowns.
I’m honestly so disappointed. I thought I’d get within the 220 range. Dreams are crushed. :(

Look at the understanding PSAT thing

Very unlikely that MA will go below 220. Hasn’t done that in 14 years. Check out last year’s thread.

Oh dang. I forgot he lives in Massachusetts. I live in a lower state (210 usually

Thank goodness I live in Alabama. This is one of the few times I’m happy to be in such a dumb state. Our highest cutoff ever has been 213.

so has anybody figured out whether the two passages (Africa, grain mills, desire vs. necessity) support or contradict each other?

I think it’s support.

I found this on another thread. It includes the answer key. <a href=“Understanding PSAT/NMSQT Scores - SAT Suite”>https://www.collegeboard.org/pdf/psat/understanding-psat-nmsqt-scores-guide_0.pdf

Was the answer to that math question about the women and speaking Chinese cannot be determined?

I contacted ETS and they wouldn’t give me the answers to any questions, did anyone else have any luck? And what did you guys ask them?

Thanks!

I received answers to the questions I asked them.

@Asutosh11 looks like you probably had a nice person. my person said to contact the school counselor. How would they know?

Was the math question with the Chinese speaking question 15 and is the answer cannot be determined?

@Mango920452 I think it’s because it takes them 2-3 weeks to mail a response, and because scores are bound to come out soon anyways, they probably won’t mail you. When did u email them?

@Asutosh11 I called them. That might be why.

@WK6897 yes the answer was cant be determined

Has anyone in Texas received scores yet?

also is 2.5 acceptable for that one with the answer 2.50?

@WK6897 99% sure it should be correct. My test prep center told me that it was okay.

@WK6897 I think I put 2.50 to be safe, but I believe either was acceptable.
