***OFFICIAL PSAT Wednesday, October 12

i finished taking it. pretty easy i thought. the math is tougher than usual; people couldnt finish all the problems, but i found them easy cuz math is my strength.

this years psat was comparitvely easier than the last one... Also, this year's reading passages was pretty good compared to last years paraphysical science bs..

Math was surprisingly harder than I thought
Verbal was pretty good ... except for a few SC's
Writing was easy in my opinion .......

Math - should have nicer curve than usual (hopefully!)

Just got home. Anyone remember the math? The last question on the first multiple choice section, which one did you guys pick? Also, the pentagon, did anyone put 36?

I put 24 for the pentagon question ( 72/3=24) .. can anyone confirm?

I guessed and put 36, but I heard someone who I consider relatively good at math say I got it right. I guess most people aren't home from school and on CC yet...

ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh DAMN DAMN DAMN! forgot that pentagon is 540 degrees.. 36 is the correct answer

yes, 36 was the answer ...... the hardest grid- in answer was 1111 in my opinion, I got it right in the last second.. For those that dont remember

x^10=5555 ... if x^9/y=5, what is the vaule of xy?

Answer -1111

hahaha yeah.. I got 1111 on my second try.... at first I got some wierd numbetr and then it struck me that x^9+ X = 5555 and that I could plug in the value of x^9...

damn it.. I hate it when I reflect upon my answers by calculating them again in my head and realizing that the correct answer is something else and that I mae a silly mistake.. I Knew that the pentagon had 540 degrees... doh .. what was I thinking during the test!!! :@:@:@:@:@:@:@:@@:@:@:@:

what did you get for the average one .. my good friend who is really good in math got 14 .. and thats what i got too. Did anyone get that or a different answer??

dont remember the question.. is it the one with p+q+r+s has average of 10..... one?

The average of x,z,v,and b is 10. What is the average of z-v, ..... I forgot the rest .. but something like that

It was the second to last grid-in

yeah i know what question your talkin about.. dont remember the answer though..

The last question on section2 of the multiple choice was pretty hard... I narrowed it down between D and E ... after consulting some people ..... I am pretty sure that the answer was E ... can anyone confirm?

what was the question?.............sorry ..... dont remember them by section..

it was the one with the circle with the two radii and the arc that connected them .. and it asked if you added to that radius ...what the arc would be....

oh yeah damn that was hard.... had to leave that blank.

what was the answer for the question regarding the numbers of inumbers that could be found with numbres which were specified and with a condition that the number msut have 2 in the units place....

the answer was 30 I believe ....

cool.. thats what I got too..

i was kind of lucky with the math problem that was like
(x+y)^2 - (x-y)^2=84 .. what is x+y?

At first I was like what the hell... but then I randomly picked numbers and got it (on the first plug-in ... i thought it would never figure it out)
