Official Questbridge National College Match 2010-2011

wait are we allowed to change our submitted applications after the deadline? Or is it that we can only make changes to applications submitted until the deadline?

Is anyone getting in at better rate using a different browser?

After literally 24 hours of trying to post my essays, it finally let me. Aaaaaannd then it timed out just as I agreed to the terms of submission. This is so very much my luck.

I’ve been getting in pretty consistently using Mozilla Firefox.

Little piece of advice: if you press a link and then the website fails, press the back button and re-click the link. keep doing that until it actually works. that’s what i did (:

@tiwanafam1 I’m on a mac with safari and the connection was pretty good for a while.

It may seem faster in some browsers because some display the site only after everything is downloaded while others display it to you as soon as even a bit of it is downloaded.

I don’t know about you guys,
but it seems to me that the Class of 2011 always gets the short end of things in almost everything :‘(
It is so unfair!
But can’t help lovin’ our class though :D

cool: or you could just press the reload button which automatically resubmits, at least in Firefox.

it’s down again… for me

When you paste an essay, do you have to put a space in each paragraph.

For example:

First paragraph of my essay. Sentence. Sentence. Sentence. Sentence. Sentence. Sentence. Sentence. Sentence. Sentence. Sentence. Sentence. Sentence.

Second paragraph of my essay. Sentence. Sentence. Sentence. Sentence. Sentence. Sentence. Sentence. Sentence. Sentence. Sentence. Sentence. Sentence.

Third paragraph of my essay. Sentence. Sentence. Sentence. Sentence. Sentence. Sentence. Sentence. Sentence. Sentence. Sentence. Sentence. Sentence.

OR JUST

First paragraph of my essay. Sentence. Sentence. Sentence. Sentence. Sentence. Sentence. Sentence. Sentence. Sentence. Sentence. Sentence. Sentence.
Second paragraph of my essay. Sentence. Sentence. Sentence. Sentence. Sentence. Sentence. Sentence. Sentence. Sentence. Sentence. Sentence. Sentence.
Third paragraph of my essay. Sentence. Sentence. Sentence. Sentence. Sentence. Sentence. Sentence. Sentence. Sentence. Sentence. Sentence. Sentence.

Same. Prepared everything for my extracurrics and nothing. :(

@John: I put spaces between paragraphs.

@presidont For some reason that never did anything for me ):

@john I did your first example, just so it doesn’t look as cluttered, but I’m sure either way is probably fine. All I know is that they don’t want people to indent.

The furthest I’ve gotten is being able to log in. Then I click on the “My Locker” page and it times out again.

I checked during school, left early (since today was senior skip day, haha) and when I got home, it still hasn’t worked. So frustrating.

Heyy, I finally submit my application.

Is it normal that I still can access and edit application after I submit it?

I was on… clicked submit… and it said I had to click something that said my essays were done? I’m not sure where that was, but I put “save and continue” on my first one and then it didn’t work again!

I really wish I knew that you could resubmit later… I wanted to do one final check over to make sure everything was perfect before submitting, and look where that went! :S

To those confused about the essay spacing between paragraphs:

I e-mailed QuestBridge about this topic a couple days ago because I did not want to have to remove words to put the extra lines in. They e-mailed me back telling me not to worry about what it looks like on the preview. When they view the application the essays will look exactly like they did when you pasted them in.

So if you don’t have indentations before each paragraph in the preview (but did when you pasted the essays in), then you need not worry.

I have been getting that error for a while… >.< why does it keep saying “You must save your essays”?

why does it say that i still haven’t done the “mini courses”??? I totally have done them over a month ago!!!

does anyone know the link to a counselor extention form that I can fill out because I can’t find it anywhere please and thank you
