Arghh…son did not want to check before he left for school. Guessing he prefers opening a piece of mail? Might come today since we are not too far in Ohio. At any rate, all financial aid/scholarship awards are mail only, Bucknell stated it would not be online.

D accepted to the Business School. Perfect GPA, 32 ACT, tons of great EC’s and 4 year All county Varsity Athlete. Waiting to hear about Presidential, or would they have mentioned it already in the on-line letter?
To those of you Wait-listed, I think many schools will be using their wait lists this year…if you think about it they will have to. Applications numbers are UP which explains the lower acceptance rates yet the bubble has burst and there are actually less kids now…so follow the advice of a previous poster and let the schools know that you are interested if you are on their wait lists…I bet one of them will pull through for you! Good luck!

My D was accepted! Bucknell is her first choice, so we’re very excited. Just waiting to see the financial aid.
Accepted with 1870/2400 1330/1600 sat and 3.0 unweight GPA. Intended major: psychology
@collegemomjam Seem to be seeing your posts everywhere. Congrats on your D! S was accepted here (business) as well, along with Lehigh yesterday, and Villanova EA. The waitlist from BC still bothers him, as it was in his top 2. Still waiting on W&L tonight, then done. At least he has some excellent options. Is your D still going to BC?
International here. Accepted with Presidential Scholarship! Called my counselor to know about the decision.

@Yashmittal2009 oh I thought your current school counselor. My bad. But she was willing to tell you about the scholarship as well? I mean I thought we need to wait for the post mail.
Even I thought so. She didn’t tell me anything about the fin aid package though.
Waitlisted with a 34 ACT, 3.7 UW GPA & 12 AP classes. Kind of surprised to be honest. But congrats to everyone else!!
My son was denied, although they stated they never received his mid-year report, which is highly unlikely from his school, who actually can prove they received it! Odd because he was accepted at Colgate, which I’d think more selective. At any rate, he has a 31 ACT (one sitting) and a 4.0 (uw) with busy sports ECs (3 sports, captain, academic and league/state awards) and some Community Service. His school is high-achieving private school in Ohio.
