@bluedreams I’m just referring to the Texas Medical Center. I know it’s not just a hospital but I just refer to it as one hospital. For simplicity, I guess.
@TikopiaRock28 You all are so lucky! Wish I could say the same! You all have your pick of the UCs right there!
@JuicyMango Thank you for your concern, but read back on @CrystalRose7. She stated that she had already gotten into UCD and UCSC with honors, as well as UCLA, and was waiting for UCB. And you are wrong. Geographical location and history do count (read back on @CrystalRose7). I’m guessing you are OOS, yes? You don’t seem to understand the geographical advantage.
@PinkQuetzal9 Nope, I’m in-state. Just because you got into certain schools doesn’t mean it automatically becomes a “safety”. Admission into UCLA is not a guarantee of admission into Berkeley, which uses different criteria to select students. Obviously, he/she has a good chance of getting in, but it is most definitely a fact that admission into one college doesn’t say anything about admission into another.
I think what I really mean to say is that I hope @CrystalRose7 understands how much it hurts some people when he/she calls a school a “safety”, when many people with better stats were denied admission. Maybe UCLA, UCD, UCSC are safeties, but just have the common decency to refrain from saying that.
@JuicyMango How about we do like Elsa and “let it go!” I believe @CrystalRose7 is done discussing the subject and this is not my fight.

Is Rice out this weekend?
I’m hoping they’ll be out by Friday. @voltthorn
Anyone know when they have released decisions in the past?
I think last year it was the Friday before April 1st, I may be wrong?
All of your replies in this thread just scream saltiness from being rejected by UCLA. It’s hilarious reading through your comment history
I wasn’t able to interview (didn’t apply in time). I there any chance I still get in?
I’m sure you’re fine. I didn’t get an interview either but only because I didn’t know I had to request one.
I have heard that they will reply this Friday (March 24th). Can anyone confirm this?
@cristinaG They were late with early decisions this year anyones guess. they don’t anounce it seems. 25 was last years date
Thankyou! @fun1234
I’ve been seeing April 1 everywhere for decisions. Am I the only one that didn’t expect them in March?
@BonJovial all colleges say “by April 1” but pretty much all of them actually release before that
@b4sicallyid0work oh ok. So am I to understand that my decision can just take me by surprise whenever? What a subtle form of torture these colleges have thought up haha
tbh I think surprise is better than knowing the exact time it’s going to come out because it’s difficult to be functional for like… the twenty-four hours before a decision.
