**OFFICIAL SAT Biology E/M June 2013 Exam**

@yalehopeful was the property of water on ecology?

I’m pretty sure it was, as I remember seeing that question.

What did you guys say for the darwin question which is like “Darwin included all in his teachings of natural selection EXCEPT”

the answers were like
Organisms produce similar organisms
recessive alleles are hidden by natural selection
and others

what was it?

Hello guys. I remember a question about how would the cell look like after one phase of normal mitotic division. The picture had two arrows pointing to chromosomes. However, I wasn’t sure whether those were two pairs of homologous chromosomes or if they were two replicated chromosomes? Each case would give a different answer.

@thetester123
it’s recessive alleles

darwin came before mendel…

yes I had the same question… if it was homologous then it should be the same picture as above. if the two arrows were connected (which means it was replicated) then it’s half the graph above… but I don’t remember the question.

they were homologous chromosomes, those chromosomes were clearly before cell division had started, so the answer would be 2 cells with exact same appearance as the original cell.

@inspir3d wait so why is “organism produce similar organisms” correct?

hey guys
does anyone know the one with the plant cell and distlled water
was it cell 4, with the trgid pressure

Lets compile a list of questions and answers!

hey! so 2 questions…

1.what was it for the predation/commensalism/mutialism thing for the problem about aplant with some kinda vascular connection with another, and sucks all its nutrients? -when do u determine if its predation or parasitism.

and does it rain in the biome of some kinda middle (temperate…whatsoever) Desert? The question was which has the least precipitation… I believe Tundra was one, but was the desert one as well?

Parasitism

1 and 3 so desert and tundra

so parasitism appeared twice right?

no, i remember putting commensalism as one

@ inspir3d: thank you!

OH! One more… easy question. but got confused: the transcription in the nucleus is that trna or Mrna?

@77salolin

1.for the nucleus mass from G1 phase, was it *2 the original? Yes
2.the worm in cat intestine is parasitism? Yes
3.What is the question that has A subbed for T ?I don’t remember the question…
The polypeptide would be shorter.
4.for the result of plant mitosis, what was the final graph like? I think that was E and I took M.
5.for the immune response sequence, was there an option with “swelling” the first step?
It was histamine production, blood entering the vessels, swelling, phagocytosis, white cells die, and then cell division.

commensalism was one… but the other two were predation

@Yolo4bio it’s the triplet codon for mRNA.

i mean parasitism* sorry!

For the question that asked for the DNA that was used for the anticodon, it’s just the anticodon, but you replace U with T right?
