**OFFICIAL SAT Biology E/M June 2013 Exam**

wait…was one of the answers translocation or crossover? I cant remember which one i put.
also, was the tapeworm in the cat commensalism or parasitism?

@darthead123 It’s a crossover.
Tapeworms in animals are always parasites.

Those who did the E section! : like 3rd last question: what is the concetration difference of [something] between those trophic levels? I believe I put 2000

btw, for the petal question, there were 3 questions in total, was it incomplete dominence for both the first one and second one?

what was the one about the albino plant stealing food? interspecific competition?

yeah, the other one wasn’t parasitism, there was one where it was interspecific competition, but it wasn’t the one with the albiino plant. i think it was the only where it was like an organism denies access to resource to others or something. there was only one parasitism

the albino one was parasitism i think, since it was draining the nutrients
@yolo4bio the concentration one was 2,000,000 since the highest trophic level had 20 and the water had .00002

How many can I get wrong to break 700…?

1,000,000

Not 2,000,000. That wasn’t even an answer choice.

@medical hahaha whoops yeah i meant 1,000,000! thanks

Didnt Darwin not know about variation?

I omitted like 7 questions, aaahhhh I’m gonna do terrible. Freshman year Bio did not prepare me for this.

I think I might have missed around 6-7 questions…What would be the score around? I’m really looking for above 700…

Beetle was coevolution

Was the flower and bees coevolution?

yes flowers and bees was coevolution

what was the answer to the water property one? the one that asked which of the properties was not true?

also, what were your answers for the lavender flower ones?

What did you guys get for the Darwin question about natural selection?

I put organisms make similar organisms (it was an except question)

@nycgirl the answer was water is not a good buffer.
Does anyone remember the answer to the one about internal clocks? Was it something about daily activity in mice
Also what was the answer to the ants and another bug on the tree one? I put ants protect he other bug from predators because nothing else made sense

For the water question i got it wrong, but i put high heat of vaporization helps mammals regulate their body temperature. Mammals arent cold blooded so they dont have to rely on their surroundings to regulate their body temp. I almost picked the buffer one goshdarnit!!
