Official Sat I Discussion January 2005

evad i think the answer was 18 - 9pi/2 for that. for me, the x + ky = 180 and the honeybee were experimental

What was the question for the 18-8pi/2 answer? Was this on the Native American novelist version? Because I don't remember that question at all.

this was on the non native american version

was the suffuse:light analogy question on the native american test?

anyone remember the last question to the first CR on the native american test? (one about the native american author) I think I put A or B as the answer..

do all colleges consider the highest combined score?

Was the "traitor" question a D or E answer?
I would appreciate an answer on any of these questions..

I do not recall encountering such a question on the Native American version. Moreover, there is a "search tool" on the top bar where, if used properly, you will find all the answers to your questions.

ok so i know this is like a dumb q to ask at this point, but which one is the experimental section for the nasa / native american writers test? i saw it on collegeboard but i dont get which one is the one that i took...lol

the 4th one! the SECOND 30 MIN MATH MULTIPLE CHOICE. NO MORE QUESTIONS ON THIS STUPID EXPERIMENTAL STUFF OK?

the one where you had the guy running from his house to work or something like that. and u had two hour intervals remember that? (like from 9 am-11 am he ran at 11 mph, 11-am-1pm he ran at 15 mph, 1-pm to 3 pm 18 mph something like that)

what was the answer to this question

I didn't have that test, but um if you can rephrase the question properly i'll answer it for ya and if there were any choices give me them.

well gee sorry for asking.. i just didnt remeber which section tht was and now i do... ddnt try to make you o so mad because of my petty little insegnificant 2 lined question that just changed the coarse of your whole life as you went so out of ur way to answer it... phew that must have been tiring and annoying? did u tear ur hair out yet??

was this question on the first section( and was the pyramid I II III question on section 1 aswell??)

quote:
that is true only for a flat square. but for a 3 dimensional cube, you are forgetting about the height. the height of 6 also has to be cut in half - thus doubling your 4 cubes making 8.

drop:liquid=moment:time? god I have like 2 hours to decide whether to cancel or not...

i think so... thts wat i put at least... why would u cancel ur scores/

um.. cause my verbal might just be lower than last time... esp if there are only three 800s on the scale.. do u think that this test was really that easy? i found it just moderate... similar to the SAT in June 4th 2004... there were 4 800s then. (I got four wrong, omitted one and scored 750 for verbal->800 800 800 800 780 770 750)

Correct...

there are 3 questions i maybe wrong on:
1. 930 970 990 prime factors one
2. pyramid, planes I II III one, some say the answer is infinity
3. cube 4, 8 one

which ones are on section 1, and which one is on the experimental section?

PLease! someone wise ?
-Bill

well 1 and 2 were experimental and the 3rd one was counted (1 st section)

peace out

if anyone is wondering though. 1 = 930, 2 = 4, and 3 = 8, how hell can it be four? lol

No. The pyramid one was infinity, or "greater than 8"

amen iamstupid
