^ Yes.

And to the starling question! It is not introduce virus! Just think about it! Makes absolutely no sense!

^ Yes.

And to the starling question! It is not introduce virus! Just think about it! Makes absolutely no sense!

what was the answer to the I, II, III type question about linked genes?
i think some of the possible answers were:
I. on same chromosome
II. can crossover
III. ????

It makes perfect sense. Which choice do you think it is then?

Hmm. If I missed around 10-15 on the first part, would it still be possible to pull a 700 or above?

everyone is looking too much into the starling question. most effective biological control. it said nothing about how it would harm the ecosystem. introducing a new species might upset the ecosystem, but it would be the most effective method of control. i did consider virus but as far as biological control, introducing a species that would compete with the starlings is a textbook definition

my textbook's def is introducing a native species. not simply a new one.

and the whole point of biological control is to benefit the ecosystem, though, but you are right about looking too much into it.

Does anyone remember that question regarding the prairie clams? ROFL, by far the most hilarious question answer choice I've seen in my life.

Was the answer that it was once underwater?

lol yes i think so ^^ i hope so cause its that simple rite! yet again this is ETS.........

what happens if you didnt write in cursive for that last part. i kinda missed that...

anyone wanna predict my score?
13 wrong (ROFL.)
5 blank.

@persondudething

I think they meant write in your normal handwriting rather than try to make as legible and forgeable as possible.

holy crap, thats good news. it would suck if they canceled my score because of that.

Does anyone remember the question that asked about what the liver does NOT do?
Answer choices include:
produces bile
makes red blood cells

that's all I can remember..what is the correct answer?

Sorry if this has already been asked!

It's already been asked and the answer was make red blood cells.

i think we should start making a running list of all the answers..if we can remember them so we can best try to calculate our scores. i know i cant wait until the 21st

21st is soo far away! I'm going to forget that I even took the test!
Liver does NOT make Red Blood Cells.
Yeah, a list would be good. I'll go through the whole thing and compile a list. Sound good?

sounds great!

blood plasma

and that's as much as i can remember..

oh starling questions : starlings were an exotic species therefore their natural predators are also an exotic species. exotic species are actually used very often as biological controls, especially for insects

Wrong blood type=agglutination

Mendel: All three

Linked genes: two of them.. they can vary during cross over and they are on the same chromosome

Biggest factor in carbon cycle is photosynthesis and respiration

Plasmodesmata was right..it transfers nutrients across a plant and attaches symplast and apoplast

Dialysis =metabolic waste

Phylogenetic branch..it was like C and D are closer than B and E or something like that

Stuff that bacteria use to read RNA to make DNA:reverse transcriptase
Bacterial viruses:phage

Good control for that fertilization/radioactive stuff experiment.. would be separate sperm.

Fertilization occurs after ovulation.

Xylem was dead plant tissue

Most mass: nucleus?

Carbon is most abundant in the human body(oxygen is really..but that wasn't the choice..i don't think atleast..don't remember. lol)

AIDS is a retrovirus

Liver does NOT make red blood cells

Feel free to add. lol
