<p>World History test usually fools a lot of people into taking it on a whim. The mean score for World History is 570 and compared with other tests, World History has the worst mean in that regard. With that said, it's possible to get lower than 570...but it's certainly not likely. You shouldn't worry about one SAT II test.</p>

<p>average is 570, the rule of thumb is better colleges want to see 50 points higher than the avg. top colleges might want to see even better</p>

<p>u think if i have 3 other good test scores colleges will seriously change their decision as a result of a bad 4th SAT II</p>
<p>if they do then its their problem. colleges shouldn't expect applicants to be perfect.</p>

<p>the problem is that many "World History" courses are Eurocentric, and the SAT, to avoid accusations of being bigoted, goes overboard to make its exam as "World" as possible</p>

<p>UCaliGirl9, 30-50 points do not make a difference. We at least scored above the average for World History, if that is a comfort:) I expected a higher score, because I am good at history at school, but our education system (in Bulgaria) is a bit more different from the us one, so it turned out that the World History test did not have much in common with my high school tests. Anyway, I think I'll send my 650 to colleges, even though it is my lowest SAT II.</p>
