OFFICIAL SAT II World History Thread 12/4

How was the test everybody?

Lets try to post all the questions we remember . . .

The picture of Buddha was a synthesis of India and China
Egypt was surrounded by desert East and West of the Nile River
Humans evolved in Africa
Freud and Nietzsche supported Irrationality

How did Japanese Feudalism and Western Feudalism Differ?
What did the Constitution under the Meiji Restoration do?
What two cities lay on the Silk Road?
How did the Romans control their Empire (citizenry, acceptance of languages)?
The Map, I think, represented Byzantine under Justinian (southern Spain was shaded in).

The test was very difficult (Where did all the questions on Africa come from?).
Still, there should be a big curve (you can get around 10-12 wrong and still get an 800).

Actually, I thought that the more widely accepted theory was the out-of-Africa model. As for the map question, I marked Ummayad, since I could not remember whether Byzantine controlled North Africa. With the other answers I agree. I also wholeheartedly support the statement that the test was hard. I omitted 11 and expect lots of mistakes...

One of the Silk Road cities was Delhi, the other I could not recall. About the Romans, I think citizenry.

I am positive that Humans Involved in Africa (the out-of-Africa model was rejected due to lack of DNA evidence). As for the map question, it had to be the Byzantine Empire because Italy was shaded (Umayyad Caliphate fell apart before the Muslims even before the Muslims conquered Spain).
Does anybody else remember/ have answers to any of the other questions?

Yeah, the World History curve is pretty nice. When I took it in June, I thought I got a lot wrong but ended up with a 750. Wouldn't worry about it too much.

I suppose you are right, which means that I have 2 wrong for certain...

wait
we could only pick ONE of the coutries for that buddha pic...not two right

for the silk road i said istanbul and kyoto...not sure why...oh wait yes i am i guess on every question except for like 5

I have no idea how I did...
I left about 11-15 blank, and missed AT LEAST a couple

say i skipped 15 and got like 10-15 wrong what is that? (i took the test completely cold and decided to take it today...big mistake)

I'm wondering too... I skipped like 15 and missed like 5-10 what would that be?

i picked Samarkland and Loyang(?) for the silk route ques
http://www.imperialtours.net/image/silk_road_map.gif

not possible because loyang is located east of changan and the question states cities between the two ancient worlds

skip 6

missed 30 or more

what do i get

What sort of Africa questions were there?

conker - early tribes (iron development), bantu civilization (migrating tribe), a little geography, spread of religion and colonialism

Does anyone who took it remember any of the questions?
Do you guys remember then one about Nigeria and how it's different from Morocco or something?
What about the Rome one?

GUYS! I TOOK THE WORLD HISTORY IN JUNE! THE CURVE IS EXTREMELY HARSH AND REALLY BAD! AND ITS ONE BIG FREAKIN HARD TEST!!!! So dont keep your hopes too high! Just wanted to let you know!!!

rome...hmmm...extending citizenship or something

what did you get arsalan? and how many did you miss/leave blank? What did you prep with? I got a 750 on the Real SAT II Practice test, but I think I missed more this time...

serin - I think that would be somewhere in the mid- to low 600s

i actually didn't skip any and i was only unsure about african questions, an argentina q and a united food union. that's about 5 question i probably missed.

ok i am getting really scared because I took this test on a whim thinking it would be easy and I didn't study at all...it turned outto be really do u think i could possibly get a 400 or 500 something
