official SAT study guide-math 1 &2

i've taken the practice tests in these. should i trust the scores that i got??.. as they were actual previously administered tests...
or should i not get my hopes up??

for those of you who did practice tests from this book and who took the actual subject test, how did your scores correlate??

They are fairly accurate. I took one of the practice ones for Math II and got an 800 and I got the same score on the June '08 Math II exam. I did feel that the questions were a little harder on the June one, but luckily I got the same score.

I flipped through one of the Math II tests in the CB book and thought it was a bit easier than the test I took in January.

How is the Barron’s book? That’s the one I have, but I am thinking about getting the CB book to study from as well. I’m going to start studying after the BC test.

Barron’s is very hard, much harder than the actual thing, but it’s great for reviewing if you’re aiming for a 800.
