Anyone remember a except question about people moving to Mass colony?
And a Southwest tribe Anasazi , I looked at this one and was like ***!

The Anasazi were a group of Pueblo people, so I guess the answer is agriculture. I got that one wrong ughhh.

There was one about the court injunction that I got wrong because I read the dates incorrectly. In retrospect, I think the answer should’ve been something about labor unions?

And the question about life in the 20s… the answer was something about a greater standard of living and more people in the cities.

What was the reason for the population increase in the early 19th century? I didn’t like any of the choices so I skipped that one.

I said importation of slaves but I was kinda unsure about that one.

What was the answer to “what group used the courts” for something related to civil rights? I put NAACP, but not sure.

There was a question about a group of students using something to spread awareness… was it activism?

@abigailyw
Yes, injunctions were used against unions to break strikes.
[Injunction - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia](<a href=“Injunction - Wikipedia”>Injunction - Wikipedia)

@msteiny1212 Deportation of slaves into America stopped in 1808, so I think the answer was natural growth.

@nyctempo: the question you referring to was about group of students called the Students for a Democratic Society (SDS) and yes, SDS’s mission was to promote reform through social activism

Anyone remember one quote about feminism? something about total involvement in the mainstream? Was that to do with ERA?

I think it was the NAACP if the ACLU wasn’t a choice. They used the courts numerous times to lead up to the most famous of their cases, Brown v. Board. They also couldn’t use any other form of political expression

how did you guys study for the test this time??
I’m using kaplan now, might switch to barron’s, and i’m taking it in November. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

@chillypenguin I used Amsco APUSH to review and took sparknotes practice tests. Amsco does a wonderful job covering all of the necessary material and sparknotes tests are pretty good (they are a little bit more detail oriented than the actual sat but they’re a great review tool) I did use barrons but I would strongly recommend not using it because its tests are way focus way too much on useless details and this makes them VERY unrealistic.

hmm cool. I’m wondering about amendments- are those prominent ?
Ill use AMSCO for sure, heard a lot of good things about it. thanks for the quick response

Guys, the scores are coming up in a few hours!!!

Scores guys? I predicted after taking it that I got 740-760. Got the 760, pretty happy. :)
