Official SAT Subject Test - World History - June 2015

Hi everyone, 2 days left!! I am freaking out.

I agree. I thought it was going to be super easy until i started my first practice test on the official guide and 710. holy crap. i only have one day left

What would schools like the top 30’s ask for? Between700-750? Cuz the percentile for it is in the 80’s.

I’m so nervous!!! I’m taking it too. This test has the lowest average!!! I’m praying for a 750+

I’m so scared because the CC community is usually pretty hardworking if they’re this concerned with college. And they said it was a really difficult test :((

I just wish they had more test dates. Any advice? Is it necessary to remember who wrote what??

I just missed 32 on the Barron’s test 2. I really hope the real thing is much easier.

Lol nice. I missed 23 on a recent CB one and around 30~ish on a Barron’s one. What period is most predominant? I heard you have to know all the enlightenment philosophers and scientists from the scientific revolution. Is that true?

@michelleehmliu Well you don’t have to worry THAT much. The curve is very generous. -20 Raw Score is still an 800.

You don’t have to know all of them but I just took a test and you should most probably know Newton, Montesquieu, Rousseau, Hobbes, Voltaire, Bacon. They are important.

Right now I decided I would just relax… I haven’t been studying crazily because it makes me go insane so I am just hoping that I can kill this test tomorrow! Giving my brain a nice break I think will help rather than just cramming because I won’t be as focused tomorrow morning

Does anyone have like a list of the different plants and animals domesticated during the Neolithic Revolution?
Also @Calchong thanks for the info.

I don’t think you should worry too much if you make below a 700, as long as it is above low to mid-600s for the top 30 schools, depending on what you want to major on. If you say you want to major in geography, for example, an 800 or high 700 would be best.

Plants- barley, emmer, einkorn, figs, oats; mostly cereal grasses and grains.
Animals- dogs (east asia), sheep, goats, cows, and pigs

If you guys used a Barron’s book your score is probably going to appear lower than it would on the actual college board test.

Yeah, but I’m missing sooo many on the Barron’s practice tests.

It’s probably around 8 less wrong if you TakE the actual sat

I got signed up for the regular SAT instead so I can’t take this test anymore

wasn’t too bad right?? a few odd quotes and things and I messed one up that was so obvious so now I am so mad at myself :’(

It could be worse. At least you didn’t get signer up for the regular sat by accident

Nothing totally unexpected?
