@Yakisoba I got that. Can you help me with these?
a long quote that referred to religion not being enforced… I don’t remember the question/answer but it was related to the Protestant reformation I think.
Kashmir area of conflict in India?
China and something had tributary systems?
who favored the bolshevik Cultural Revolution?
Does anyone know when we can legally discuss this? Im kind of paranoid collegeboard will hunt me down and fail me
Map of 300CE to 600CE really caugt me… and is it christianity or muslim that predominated in 1300’s
Is the map spread of christianity or muslim conquest because muslims didn’t merge until 500-600 right?
@HopefulSOPH it was Christianity because the spread is showing the expansion of the Byzantine empire
I think I put that but I forgot…what were the other choices?
“Crown lying in the gutter, picked it up with my sword” Napoleon?
“Men work in fields, women sew” not applicable to the proletariat?
Buddhism and Hinduism --> dharmic?
The porcelain Swahili coast upper class homes --> European influence?
Latin American figure surrounded by three Virgin Mary’s --> Christianity given more importance?
What religion allowed in Rome --> Nicen (don’t know how to spell it) Christianity?
Napoleon yes
Can you elaborate on this question?
Dharma yes
It was Islamic influence due to the niche (mihrabs)
Can you elaborate here too
Nicene yes
The passage on gender roles was talking about gender roles i.e. Men work whereas women stay in the home and don’t do any work. However, this doesn’t apply to the working class as women were allowed in factories to do work.
I said that Christianity was given more importance over the Latin American faith because it’s not as if the people didn’t worship the Latin American aspect of the shrine; rather, the nature of 3 vs 1 shows there are more Christian idols; therefore it’s more emphasized. Rarely when a new religion is introduce it wipes out all preexisting faiths (I.e. The faiths tend to blend) which is why I didn’t pick “Christianity triumphed.”
Also, what was the answer to the one about the passage where the Islamic people become the caliph by accepting God or smt? I put the views were most consistent with those of Buddhist monks because they sought “the truth” and were “released from worldly ties” which is very reminiscent of the monastic life. Truth I thought was hinting at the Four Noble Truths.
I’m surprised that not many people took this test. I suppose it’s because AP World typically only taken by sophomores.
@WhatDat I only remember putting China and Aztec tributary systems. Everything else I don’t remember.
Does anyone know what was the most important or exemplified consequence of the Green Revolution? Increased food supply or wider variety of crops? I put increased food supply but that’s probably wrong.
@Yakisoba ok! China and Aztec were right
Also, the porcelain building is definitely Islamic influence. I took art history this year so it was easy to recognize the “mihrab” from Islamic mosques.
I don’t remember anything from the gender role passage or the Latin American/Christian beliefs… I think we might have some different questions?
The Islamic belief presented was closest to “Sufi mysticism” with the key words being truth, divine, and direct connection to God
Green revolution was greater crop yield per acre
@WhatDat Ok cool. I was between Sufi and Buddhism, but ultimately I chose Buddhism because I didn’t know that much about the Sufi Mystics.
Also I heard that APAH pairs very well with World…mihrabs were the portal things that pointed to like some Islamic place right? It crossed my mind during the test but I was afraid of getting the wrong information.
I put larger crop yield too.
The picture of the Greco-Bactrian ruler coin was appeal to the locals with local symbol right? Because Greco-Bactrian was Indian I think.
Also was the Yalta Conference of 1945 to split up Axis lands or discuss peace with Axis powers? That’s what I put but I think it was wrong
Lastly another one I missed was the “which is not an example of the colonized influencing the colonizer?” I put drinking hot chocolate in Madrid which was wrong.
So far I think I missed 5…I’m getting kind of concerned here despite the super generous curve.
The similarity between Jomo Kenyatta and two other guys were that they were all revolutionary leaders, right?
@Yakisoba yeah art history has been sooooo useful hahaha
-I put something like influence of Hinduism because the king was wearing an elephant helmet but your answer might be right
-Yalta conference, i skipped. No idea what it was but if you look it up it should be to split up Axis lands
-Not an example… oh man I remember this question but don’t remember my answer. I’m pretty sure I picked the middle choice though so C if anyone else remembers the answer
only 5?! man you’re so set hahaha
oh yeah they were revolutionary leaders
@WhatDat my friend said the answer was the one involving soccer
