<p>nwfilm: I had that for the longest time, and I was worried that it meant that they hadn’t received my application. I contacted them and they basically said that once they process your application all those things will be taken off. It took them about 2.5 months after I first contacted them for it to change.</p>
<p>My son’s status page still states that they have not received any sca supplements. However he has called many times and was told not to worry that they have everything they need.
I’m not really sure what purpose the status check serves.</p>
<p>A LOT of kids from our high school got letters today which makes it feel conclusive despite the rumors that acceptances trickle out for the next two weeks. Has anyone heard of any SCA applicants getting a letter today??</p>
<p>kookie…you should add your name/choices to the list…you said your applied for production (1st choice?) did you have a second choice?</p>

<p>Thxs Kookie! What I am learning is that there is NO consistency to what they are putting on the admissions site. Although I am just speculating, it is probable that each general admission counselor who is 'in charge" of a group of students is also responsible for data entry on their group-likely variance among the counselors as to when and what they put up. It would be nice to see “application is being reviewed.” :)</p>

<p>nwfilm, that explanation makes more sense than anything else I have heard. What if the variation between everyone’s status messages is really just the result of different admission people inputing info at different times and in different ways??</p>
<p>I really think that’s the case. From pouring over the status update forums, it seems that It might be one of those things that seem tedious for the admission committee to update periodically whenever there’s a change.</p>
<p>I have been reading this post tonight after dinner and to my friend “Dream”, you just HAVE to get accepted. Seriously, USC would be blessed to have you on board.</p>

<p>I can’t imagine that’s true! I would have a hard time stereotyping an entire group like that. I know any of us who get accepted will be grateful for the invitation!</p>
<p>We’re not stuck up. We’re “arTists” LOL. No, seriously, we haven’t been Hollywoodfied yet!. We are just hungry kids trying to get into a good college and learn our craft-No different than the Chem majors, or any other majors.</p>
