<p>This is what was relayed to me via my friends mother. Did she receive admission to the 3 years BA or 4 years with Foundation? I’m not sure within the film industry how well known they are… however check out Bournemouth. They are apparently well known and have another top program in the UK.</p>
<p>I am planning on visiting every school before I decide so I can let you know more if I go to visit. Now, I have to decide whether I want to study in the UK or stay here where I know the Ryerson program has a really good rep as well.</p>

<p>Bournemouth doesn’t require the foundation degree that you’re talking about with UAL. Like USC and Ryerson, they have about 60 spots. Most are filled but they still accept portfolios from overseas applicants.</p>

<p>She was accepted to the Honors Program at Emerson for film. That includes `1/2 tuition. It has a lot of plusses for us (close by, small, in a good city, also heavly on production, $$) and UC Berkeley. But Berkeley is mostly theory, critical studies sort of thing. Berkeley also has a lot of benefits though. Let’s see about USC (less optimistic as the hours pass). We visited UAL last year. It’s in a rough neighborhood and it’s just one builidng (the communcations program anyway). I love London but can’t say I was blown away by the school.</p>

<p>dream@ i am in shock…spring semester, which is fine. i can work and take some gen ed classes in my town and then pay less $ to USC. they may bump me to fall admission said. interesting, my mom called admission this morning about why we could not ask questions. he confirmed that their was a problem with my usconnect, so it wasn’t us.<br>

<p>mitch: the guy in admin was very, very clear that acceptances were still going out-he was very definite. he mentioned emails to foreign students…what do you mean by supplements? i have not ck’d whether backdoor works yet for me-nothing has worked for me as I have been whining the past week; THANKS YOU GUYS FOR PUTTING UP WITH ME!!
