Picklechicken prolly between a 33-36. Which isn’t bad. But after reviewing all of these hard questions with ppl here I think I got a 35 or 36 LOL.

I know what the math curve is going to be, and trust me I’m good at guessing curves. September ACT Math Curve:
-0 36
-1 35
-2 33
-3 33
-4 32
-5 31
-6 30
-7 29
-8 29

just to get an idea

what did you guys put for the graph one where it asked how many were upwards of 25,000 or something?? I didn’t even attempt to solve it because I was scared I would run out of time

IDKhur, you are right because the diagram of the triangle to the right was just an example. The question explicitly stated, a triangle with ANY sides a,b,c. so lets say that a and b were equal in length, and the angle in between them was nearly, not quite, but nearly 180. That means that the opposite side, c, is going to be a little bit less than a+b. so 2a+2b>a+b+c

by the way, a lot of tests with this same pattern, (super easy till like question 45, and then increasing difficulty), all have curves that often times resemble 58-60 - 36, 56-57 - 35, and then each question after will bump you down one for a while.

x(x(x-7)+5)+1 what is the question to this and what number was it. and what is the question to 7 and 17?

-6 wont be a 30. i think it might be a 31 or 32

I also put 2a + 2b> a+b+c. For the car question regarding the amount of cars over 25k, i just took half of the 48% (20K-29,999) added the rest and my answer was right there. I forgot the actual answer though.

Looks like I got a 31-33. Thanks to everyone who contributed to this thread so far. :D

You are given the equation x^3 - 7x^2 + 5x + 1. It referred to computer science and said make this equation use only two computations. It gave an example…x(x-3) is one computation

Jattkc if I remember right it was -7 and 17 or vice versa.

So… is x(x(x-7)+5)+1 the right answer for the computer problem? Or something else?

I am thinking the same^ how many did you get wrong so far?

I think i got the same as patron

can we get a post that includes the questions and answers for the last 10 questions, as they are obviously the most challenging. I don’t know if anyone can remember all of them, but it’s worth a shot.

57: 2 multiplication s
58: dirt
59:
60: integer, rational, and something else in shapes.

I know I’ve missed 3 so far, and I’ve missed 5 at the most

The last three were D and the 2 before that were B?? Anyone got this trend?? I know I already asked this but no one replied but if we can get into a consensus on this, it will be so helpful because those were like the hardest questions. :)

thoughts on curve?
