Was the last problem (shapes) C? (Test form 71d?)

What was the answer to the parabola one?

It was c I think

I plugged in the answers till i got one to work for the parabola one and got b. I dont remember the numbers…im probably though lol

I did complete the square and plugged in and got b

Wait so nobody remembers if the question involving digging into a hole on Math (#59) that we already said the answer was (v/lw) - d was answer choice E or not? Because I put E, but that correct answer may have been a different choice.

what did you guys get for the parabola question? I put B/C which was(2/5,3) or something

What was the answer for the triangle protruding from the circle…? I think it asked for the length of AO if I’m not mistaken. It was a bunch of trig answers with 28 or 54 (or was it 56) in them?

Shouldn’t.it.have.been integers, natural, and rational? Considering.integers can be positive and negative. I hope haha.

Can we all agree the curve should be at least a little generous? (:

Actsat2400, I had something similar for the vertex. Don’t remember whether it was pos or neg but it had those numbers

I think I got 7/(cos 56) should come out to 12.51… Something and I believe that was B…not 100% sure though

I put -2/5, 3 I think

I also got 7/cos56

I think I got j for the partially one but cud I have a different form from urs

Math was a mess for me. Finished in time, but I had to rush like crazy on a number of them. Precalc and trig knowledge didn’t seem particularly helpful… didn’t use systems very frequently. I don’t think I used a matrix a single time this time, either.

By-far the hardest math section out of the three times I’ve taken the ACT (April, June, Sept). Seemed like a lot more variables mixed into everything, especially the blasted question with the diagonal midpoint that stumped me for a while. Lots of factoring, too.

Hoping the curve is significant, didn’t feel too confident after this section.

I also got naturals inside of integers inside of rationals.

One triangle, sides a b and c. Inequality relating 2a + 2b?

i put 2a+2b<a+2b+2c or something like that
choice A

not a chance -5 will be a 34 lol
also wondering about the inequality relating 2ab + 2b, like ibworldstudent and the diag. midpt. q like Nspire

Anyone else find the end of the math section much more difficult than it is usually? First timer on ACT. The practice tests seemed much easier.
