I didn’t know you were applying Charlie Brown.

yeah i’ll probably appy too…in RD

Yeah RD here. Good luck guys!

Yep, RD. 10char

applying! i always thought Stanford was such a reach for me that I never even bothered to even think of applying. However, I am truly truly passionate about something and I have everything to back it up. Hopefully it works out:(

MIT EA, so Stanford RD

I’m definitely applying, but I think it totally sucks that freshman can’t have cars on campus. =|
If it weren’t for that, Stanford would be PERFECT! Have you all started your essays?

I think I would just about collapse with joy if I got accepted into Stanford.

Looking at the supplement right now…it seems like this’ll actually be fun to write :D

Yes. I will apply and I am pretty scared…i hate rejections…who doesn’t?

Yes, I’ll definitely be applying RD.
I’ve been looking at the supplement prompts and they’re extremely vague- not much to work with there, but oh well.

I’m applying, but I’m 99% sure I won’t get in.
Only shot I have is if they look more at an overall picture than numerical test scores and GPA.

I’m applying RD! The Stanford supplements are the most interesting of all the colleges I’m applying to. It seems like Stanford really wants to get to know the applicant.
Which supplemental essay are you guys most excited to write? For me it’s a tie between intellectual vitality and the roommate essay…

Yep, Shizzle. Stanford’s been one of my top choices for several years.

Count me in RD; but I like most probably wont get it in. and im asian so it kinda sucks

i know what you mean by the asian thing…sigh.
i’m def applying but i don’t know if i should use up my ED/EA on stanford; it would be a long shot.

Count me in on the Stanford application band wagon. Good luck to all of you.

Good luck to you all. I’m not going to get in and I’m not going to pretend I have more than a 10% shot. lol.

How many people here are doing scea?

I’m going RD. My app has room for improvement.

Bump…anyone else having trouble with the roommate question? I don’t understand whether it’s what they’ll actually use to match you with a roommate (a person not matched with a roommate won’t get in?) or they’re trying to decide that if they would want to roommate with that person then said person would be a good applicant into Stanford.

I’m probably over-thinking this way too much. lol.
