@FrozenShardz I scheduled an interview with TCNJ a few weeks ago!

Sorry Ma’am, I beg your forgiveness…

That sounds like good deal IMGDAD. Am I confused about AMC charging multiple times?

@texaspg, yes, AMC is the one that you have to pay the fee for each of the supplemental you are invited to submit, whether you are invited for interview or not. Well, someone has to pay for the salary of the person coordinating all the applications! Rather the “desperate” candidates than the medical college!!!

I’m really jealous of my friends who applied ED to RPI or other places and have already been accepted. I just have this whole spiked stress levels going on.

@GreenSage, your friends’ acceptances with ED are NOT for BS/MD program. As one of my colleagues said, this is like going to Vegas. Obviously the more you put in, the bigger the win will be but it will also be big if you lose! After all, you have already got acceptances (like your friends) into some UG programs (and unlike them, without any binding agreement!) with scholarships.

Anyone hear from Union/AMC?

Does anyone know when the interview notifications for the Boston University programs come out? And how would I be notified? (shouldn’t really make a difference to the whole process, but i’m applying to the BS/DMD program)

@Sangathi9x
Delaware, actually.

@dontrejectme, they called my daughter last year, then followed by an email. When they called, my daughter was not available and they would not tell us what it was all about.

not until mid january-very early february. the site says at latest february 1.

They just take locals I heard

How did you schedule the interview, did they ask you for one?

They tell you a date to come, you don’t choose.

Does this mean I get an interview or no…

We will update you by late January about the status of your application to the Accelerated Premedical-Medical Program offered in cooperation with Jefferson Medical College. If you are not selected for this specific program within the Penn State Eberly College of Science, we will certainly consider you for general admission to the Eberly College of Science.

You should call Penn State: sounds like a waiting list for Interview…not a rejection/but NOT an interview? Sort of in between: I know that when they accept you to Eberly this early, it is a rejection to PSU/Jeff but this is different.

Got interviews for Miami and Penn State! Does anybody think that more interview notifications will be coming out before the holidays begin?

Did any one else receive anything from VCU school of Engineering saying "Congratulations on being considered for the Guaranteed Admission to Medical School program… " basically urging you to consider BME program leading to B.S degree. What does this mean?

BTW, I got the UG and Honors admission.

Yeah I got that BME thing in the mail too. Weird thing is that I haven’t received anything that said I was accepted to the honors college and that my app would be forwarded to the medical school. On the paper it says exactly what you have, “Congratulations on being considered for the Guaranteed…”

I think for my case the Engineering department acted faster than the honors college…either that or its a mistake lol

@istrum123, yeah i got the BME thing from the engineering school at VCU as today as well.

I think they are just urging you to consider it as a major… like generally most people think they are only eligible to take bio. Or some of the 7/8 year programs demand you to take bio as your major. no options. So maybe they are just letting people know they have this option too… or the school of engineering is just advertising to bs/md students.

@MedicalBoy, yeah if you got it you must have been accepted, they are probably just late in mailing you the stuff! :)
