@narkor Is the AMC app for RPI is identical to the AMC app for Union? I presume it should be different since AMC for Union questions were more tailored to the management aspect of it. Can you share what kind of prompts/essays for AMC app for RPI? Is this also exactly 7 days to submit?

I applied to Miami’s program and never got any email from them; I emailed a lady there who said they she sent my email on December 4th (which seems to be the day everyone on here says they received notification) and I looked through every junk, trash and deleted trash folder and could not find it. How could this happen? I just really want to know if I was chosen for an interview which, after reading of all of the rejections on here, is seeming less and less likely.
@GoldenRock I assume they should be similar. The email said I can access after 5.00 pm but I am yet to gain access (says my password is invalid- strange).
@narkor . The next step would be schedule for interview notification on your portal. You have to wait for them to send that to you. On the portal you will be able to see what step of review your application is under. A few days after being in step 2 we got the interview submit notification.
Can you share when you submitted your RPI application? and when did you receive the albany supplement email? Just so that we know what date is being processed since the lady at the admissions told me they were being reviewed in the order the application was complete.
@Goldenrock I too think the Albany supplement for all 3 colleges should be the same.
I like to think supplement from Rpi will have little different questions compared to union. For e.g. demonstration of research ability vs demonstration of leadership ability in essays.

So can anyone please clarify about what is happening about RPI? I applied like on November 1st… I have not received anything from RPI - I have no idea what supplemental application people are even talking about. Was the application originally part of the application or is it something that comes out in batches?
@jhgong if RPI decides to forward an application to AMC then AMC asks one to fill their application, that is what everyone is referring to as the “supplement”… which I guess no one on this forum has reported so I guess no one has got one yet
With RPI/Albany program, you need to be patient with the process. Our son did not receive a supplemental application till 2/11. He then had an interview on 3/24 and received an acceptance e-mail on 4/4. Good luck!
@dudefromnowhere did you apply to both Union/ AMC and Siena/AMC?
The reason why I think AMC app will be different is each of the 3 programs have a unique focus. RPI on Research, Union on Management and Sienna on Service. Also the app for Union has 2 prompts which itself refers Leadership in Management … which is Union program.
Based on the posts, so far HS2DierctMed and Narkor got notification to apply to AMC/RPI. For AMC/Union close to 6 folks got to apply and AMC/Siena I believe one got the app.
It appears Union forwards a lot of apps to AMC and hence the interview invitation is 1/3rd of applied to AMC.
@upstream thanks for sharing the fact and it keeps the hopes alive for every one. But RPI is the most competitive and expects a very strong prior research experience and very selective.
@upstream Congratulations for your son’s acceptance to RPI last year!! Can you please share stats for your son and research experience he may have had (If any) for getting selected to RPI?

@teenagecrime You are offered Interview from Albany Medical- right for your LIM program application? What is your Interview date? Are there Choices for it? Did you apply to multiple colleges- Like RPI/Albany. Union/Albany. Sienna/Albany? Albany wants to schedule 1 interview for people who applied to multiple colleges and not multiple interviews. many here have applied to multiple colleges, that may be the reason that Albany is waiting for other application to be forwarded to them to schedule 1 Interview for all.

How important are senior year grades for BS/MD programs? Also once you get an interview, is the decision solely based off of your performance in it, like in medical school, or do the admission committee re-review all of the material?
