@goaltobemd came in an email from program coordinator. I suspect it is not final NJMS interview but yet another UG before they forward so an interim step I guess. All it says is you have been selected for Newark arts and science college BA/MD program interview and asked to confirm the date.
I just got an interview from Union/AMC!!!
Itās my top choice, so Iāve been doing my happy dance for the past hour!!!
Congratulations@allefficace!
@NJTDad & @88Mom88 FYI. Yāday the rejection came only from Univ. of Cincinnati which is UCCOM. It looks similar to UCONN. But Univ. of Connecticut has not communicated anything so far. @cresent posted that his kid is attending that program and they normally start any notification only in Mid Jan.
@dudefromnowhere It is hard to know what is going on with TCNJ. We are in the same boat no email either way.Hard to reach any one there.
Every program process in its own way and may not be totally clear. We need to sit tight until we hear 1 way or other. For example Albany clearly informed the hold is only when students applied to RPI and Union. But if any one applied only to Union and Siena there is no hold. That is consistent with what every one posted. Lot of folks got the interview for Union/AMC though no communication yet on Siena. She also mentioned that RPI is closed for Christmas and we will hear anything only in Jan. In case if any one gets selected for both RPI/AMC and Union/AMC, the interview is only 1 day and on the same day for both programs.
@allefficace Congrats. Can u confirm if u applied only to Union or only to Union/Siena (and not applied to RPI)? Whare is the interview date?
Congrats @allefficace when is the interview ? Ours is on 25th Jan.
@jt4321 Thanks:)
@GoldenRock,
I applied to both Union and Siena, and I havenāt heard anything back from Siena yet.
My research experience is pretty basic, so I didnāt apply to RPIā¦
I need to upload a picture to access my interview form (weird), so I donāt know about the dates yet. Iāll update when I see them.
All: can we start making a comprehensive list of programs whose interview dates are out?
@NJTDad thank you for the info.
@allefficace congratulations! And upload your happy dance:)
@njtdad based on the last monthās email from Rutgers Newark, jan- March they conduct UG interview and then if you make it to the next step you have another interview with NJMS. So you are right. This should be Rutgers UG interview on Jan 5th. I have my TCNJ interview on Jan 5th. Good luck!
Thank you @upstream for guiding on how to get statistics for each program. I have covered most program if not all here for 2015 acceptances or 2014 acceptance, where 2015 data was not available. Read it as follows. In state, Out State, Total. Number of applicant, Interviewed, enrolled (This is not accepted, accepted student number could be higher) Along with GPA. SAT. ACT data for average student accepted for the program (This is not requirement, it is average of students accepted. Requirement to apply may be lower), where ever it was published. Here you go. Store it for future reference, so you donāt have to search this thread all the time.

does anyone know when we hear back from UAB EMSAP?
Excellent work!
FYI I am re-posting MCAT information on these combined programs:
Even though many combined programs do require minimum MCAT scores, there are still many combined programs that do not require minimum MCAT scores:
GWU, Northwestern, UMKC, NJMS with many affiliated colleges, Albany with RPI/Siena/Union, Sophie Davis, Rochester, Case Western, Brown, East Carolina U,Toledo, The Commonwealth MC, U of Pitt, Virginia Commonwealth, U of Texas SWMC.
Some programs have very low minimum MCAT scores:
NEOMU 24, U of Texas (Galveston) 24, Ponce 20, Meharry 24, Wayne State with Northern Michigan U 24, Texas A & M 25, Nebraska 24, New Mexico 22, Howard 24.
Please check the latest/updated MCAT requirements directly from these programs.
In terms of statistics, according to Association of American Medical Colleges 2014 average gpa and MCAT scores of Asian matriculants were 3.73 and 32.8, which are higher than minimum requirement to advance to medical schools in most of combined programs.
I just want to stress that these combined programs are very diverse, and I canāt stress the importance of teasing out these differences when one is applying to these programs.
Good luck everyone!!
Thanks @Dadofhskid that was indeed helpful
do you have stats for TCNJ/NJMS and NJIT/NJMS?
Who is the coordinator for the program at Boston U?
@dadofhskid Thank you for taking time in putting together all the stats. Very Helpful! If time permits could you please share the data for TCNJ/NJMS, Hofstra, UH 3/4 program with UTHealth and UTMB.
all data for all 8 program leading to NJMS are consolidated in 1 under Rutgers NJMS. they dont have break up for each. For BS MD Programs for High school students none of the program requested have any data available. Hofstra- No data available. UTHealth or UTMB- No data available. Only data available are for medical school like MCAT, GPA etcā¦ for accepted students for these colleges. Sorry.
anyone apply for Stockton BS/MD? I sent in my stuff through snail mail before the 15th of Dec. (the deadline) but Stockton is saying they havenāt received it?
Just got a call (cell phone) from BU - got an interview. Anyone know how many apply/ how many get interview/ how many are accepted? They said that interview info would be going out by email today btw
@tunetheday @fifteenpapers @88mom88 Congrats on BU. The email with interview scheduled arrived this afternoonā¦ Have you heard back from BU Trustees Scholarship?
@fifteenpapers refer to post#690 on this thread. Dadofhskid nicely compiled the list.
