***Official Thread for 2017 BSMD applicants***

I heard there are candidates who received rejection within one week of paying $150 fees to Drexel.

Hi everyone! Has anyone heard from NJMS? Do you know when they start interviewing/sending out rejections?

Thanks @narkor @srk2017

Are we supposed to hear from NJMS directly or feeder schools regarding invite for interview?

What were the reasons for PPSP rejections, there were too many ? any reason, high stats ? or in state Ohio ?
I got rejected too

@Mimic17 They donā€™t have to give a reason. On a separate note, they may be able to recruit some of these ā€œhigh statsā€ applicants to their 4-year programs they would not be able to get otherwise.

I am a freshmen in HS and looking out for research opportunities for 2017 summer. Given most of you have gone through this already can you please share/advise on ideas/thoughts? Thank you.

Anyone hear from Drexel yet?

Iā€™ve been following this thread for the past week or so, and have seen mixed messages about the REMS decisions. I emailed the admissions office this morning and this is the response I received:

ā€œAll the REMS interview emails should be out by the end of this week to the beginning of next week. If you are not selected you will get an email saying that you have not been selected and if you would like to opt in to regular decision.ā€ Hope this helps!

Thanks for the update @tkdjj44

@tkdjj44ā€¦similar to reponse from Case PSPPā€¦

Heard same thing from Rochester (from an AO).

Has anyone heard from uconn

Hi all - who else here has been selected for UMKC interview?

@MedSciBud I got an interview to UMKC

@brown2024 Check out AEOPā€™s website. http://www.usaeop.com/programs/ . Under apprenticeships, you may be able to find something you are eligible for as a freshman. Other than that, you could always email a professor doing research in a local university, and they may be able to allow you to get involved in their project. Good luck!!

Sophie Davis interview tomorrowā€¦any tips? What are good questions interviews like to hear? Sorry if this was answered; Iā€™m late to this chat and 116 pages is a bit much

Has anybody attended the VCU GMED interview? Does anybody know if the interviewers ask about medical ethics or about current events? I am most scared about this.

@notcameron & Others: Since this question keep coming up again and again, here is the repost again & again.

I am re-posting @Roentgen post since few posts here asking info related to interview. As most of you know there are few programs still use regular interview format and some use MMI format. Also the links have details in general about medicine related topics. Though his posts are related to UMKC, most of them should be useful for any BS/MD programs.
