**Official** Thread, High School Class of 2029

I’m gonna start prepping for the SATs. Never too early. Gotta do what I gotta do to get into the top colleges.

Just wondering, am I supposed to know the words ‘yolo’ and ‘swag’? Are they vocab words? I hear them used a lot by mature people.

That’s what my mom said when she forgot to pick me up from daycare because she was at a party… I asked her what is means and she didn’t answer me… Is she trying to sabotage my score??
There are not even any definitions for yolo on dictionary.com but this is what I found for swag:
noun

 1. a suspended wreath, garland, drapery, or the like, fastened up at or near each end and hanging down in the middle; festoon.
 2. a wreath, spray, or cluster of foliage, flowers, or fruit.
 3. a festoon, especially one very heavy toward the center.
 4. a swale.
 5. a swaying or lurching movement.

I’m thinking I want to major in *ing in a toilet and minor in *ting in a toilet.

^But first you gotta learn how to do it without a potty trainer.

If you are potty trained by the age of 2 and a half, colleges really like it. I’m pretty sure it would help you get into the top Ivies. It shows dedication, independence, and perseverance.

I just got potty trained at age 2 years 7.5 months! Will this hurt my chances???

If you steal my crayons I’ll poke both of your eyes out. b****.

@haras-That’s not a problem because I like jumbo markers, if not colored pencils, which give me better control and cleaner lines.

@love art-A little bit. You could make up for it by getting recruited for a difficult sport like pushing or shoving.

Did anyone else take AP Teething?

I was thinking of doing that but I went with AP counting instead… it’s more rigorous and highly regarded by colleges, I’ve heard that AP teething is kind of a joke…

What if you don’t have teeth?

Really? I heard AP Teething was in high regard, considering how painful the exam is.

I have some teeth, but they don’t look like they belong to T-Rex. I’d probably fail AP Teething, so I’m not taking that chance.

I think this summer I want to intern at Mommy and Me. It’ll show colleges my inquisitive and hardworking side.

That is insane, I just looked it up. Who would pay a college education to send their kid to a preschool with a “healthy, learning environment”? Everybody who goes on to do great things gets by JUST FINE without a $24-$30k annual early education.

Anyway, redhuntinghat, I know a few kids who get into prep- preschool who start walking kinda late. All you have to do is showcase some other talents. Are you good at whining? Coloring? Drooling? Just build a talent, you should be fine.

Ummmm you’ll need some major hooks for that place, esp. To get FinAid.

How’d you guys feel about AP Breastfeeding?

Do you guys think I should self-study AP teething or would that be too much??
And redhuntinghat, same here with AP Breastfeeding. I only took it because it was a pre-requisite for AP bottle feeding.
I would lovee to get into that school too, especially with financial aid. But I think it’s a long shot for me, because I didn’t learn to walk till 15 months  I’m even worse than you, but to my credit, I got a broken leg at 13 months from tripping over my toy train. Do you think my story of overcoming hardship will be enough of a hook?

How this thread got so far is beyond me.

I got a 5 on my AP Alphabet test.

Do you guys think I’ll have to know my numbers past 10 for the SAT? Or do you think I have to memorize all 100 of them?

Definitely know up to 50. My brother only knew the first 49 and only got a 780 on SAT math. He was very upset, he cried for days. Had he known 50 he would have gotten an 800.

Does walking my pet rock count as an extracurricular?
