hello all, sorry for the lack of response on this thread. Please post your questions on how to navigate the site as individual threads in the Community & Forum Issues. That would make it easier for us, the CC admin team, to see all new questions coming in. This thread was initially designed to collect feedback on the functionality of the new platform.
Regarding the updates, or better said, lack of, we will make sure to communicate whenever the case. So far, the efforts were put in upgrading the platform and making sure the site is secure. The maintenance work done this past Friday night is the best example. Thanks!
It’s taken nearly six months to make the site secure? Gee, that makes me feel safe…
@romanigypsyeyes, this is a normal process that takes place on an ongoing basis. There’s no need to feel unsafe. Although, the results are not always in the limelight, the tech team is working hard in the backend.
@moody208, since we can’t bookmark the Community & Forum Issues board (or any other board, like the boards for the individual colleges), this individual thread thing will be very inconvenient (at least for me).

I thought posters aren’t supposed to have multiple usernames?
How is posting questions on how to navigate the site different from giving feedback on the functionality of the new platform? Wouldn’t one central thread be better? How is it not easier for both admins and users to just keep track of this one thread?
He doesn’t necessarily have multiple names, just changed his name, but when you own the place the same rules don’t apply.
And the PTB aren’t particularly interested in being accountable to a group of users, which is why they rarely post here. I’m a little surprised this thread wasn’t locked long ago.
And changing one’s username isn’t allowed to users, but you are right. The same rules don’t apply.
It’s been months since the changeover, and at this point I’d say that there aren’t going to be many more changes. What we see is what we get.
I thought the point in this thread was to collect questions and feedback and NOT have onesie posts cropping up (and repeated same questions from people who didn’t see another post and its answers.) Hence the tag, “OFFICIAL” and the words, “report problems or make comments.”
ps. I liked the name Moody. Kind of imagined him brooding over these issues. Oh, well.

Now you guys are just complaining about silly things. He/she changed his/her name because it was part of a site-wide renaming of administrators and technical people so that they are easier to find and recognize.
Of course, to be fair, the same thing could have been achieved with a simple list of “officers” somewhere and some slight tweaks to the already existing titles under the usernames.
Great, now on the mobile app everything is HUGE. I guess I can just scroll forever to read something. I realize this is a free site but it is becoming more of a PITA than it is worth.
