Still waiting. I may probably go to CCSF. I don’t expect too much on that! :(

I’m going to take it as a good sign that whoever has not heard back yet has a good chance of getting in if some people were rejected off the waitlist the day after SIR’s were due!

Hopefully, we guys will all be accepted.

accepted offer march 17. still nothing

@themusician, i accepted it the day of decisions and still havent gotten anything, so i dont think when you accepted the waitlist matters

Nothing yet @_@ Has it ever been this late?

@ jxlin9 Thank you!

Still nothing :(

has anybody been accepted

I’m on the waitlist and accepted the offer the day it was posted. Still haven’t heard from Davis. However, my friend’s parents called the admissions office and the admissions people said that waitlist decisions will not be released until the middle of next week.

thanks for sharing:) it’s good to know

I haven’t checked my account since I accepted a spot on the waitlist (3/19) and I just checked a few hours ago and…I DIDN’T GET IN :’( :’( I am so disappointed, davis was my #1 choice. I think I’m going to appeal because I can. good luck to everyone else

@Lily2012 I’m very sorry that you weren’t admitted. I do want to thank you for posting evidence that people are getting responses. I was starting to figure that there was something wrong with my account because I hadn’t heard anything. Best of luck with your appeal!

iwannabeanaggie what was wrong with your account because i havent recieved anything either

This waiting is really frustrating… Already SIRed to UCSB. Only reason still I am waiting for UCD is that UCD has a Bio-Medical Engg. program. Whereas UCSB doesn’t offer this major. I know UCSB Engineering program is slightly better than that of UCD. But, I really want to major in Bio-Engg. Do you guys think this wait is still worth? or should I simply forget UCD and carry on with UCSB? I am really confused here.

Is anyone know why there is so much delay in responsing to the waitlist applicant this year ?

@Lily2012

Very sorry to hear your denial. I hope your appeal will be approved later. Any delayed applicant would like to share their major and stats? By the way, did you recieve an email about your final decision?

For me
Major: Physics
Stats:
SAT I 2020 (highest single sitting)
SAT II Physics 800 Math II 800
UC GPA 3.75
Optional college: RPI (won’t go :)) CCSF (where probably end up :()

Major: Neuroscience, Physiology, Behavior
Stats:
1940 SAT
3.82 UC GPA.

Major: Design
Stats:
SAT I - 1710 was the highest
ACT - 27
3.57 UC GPA probably

when i called UC Davis to get info on waitlist before May 1st i heard that your chances of getting in to UC Davis from waiting list depends on how popular your major is at Davis so the more popular your major is the lower chances you have of someone not submitting their SIR for your respective major
my major is Pre-managerial economics
i want to know how many of you knew this major was offered

anything in the school environmental sciences or medical is highly popular and competitive
generally most engineering schools at any university are competitive
