@DocAzure Personally I think that since you’re a non traditional student with an impressive answer to insight questions, if you wrote your answers well, I think you have a fair chance at being one of the exception acceptances that don’t match up to usual GPA admits. Thank you for serving our country, btw.

I understand that as a veteran, I’m easily written off as well by society and my community college peers as salty and broken goods, and probably perceived as a future bum off the side of the freeway. It happens. Yeah, there’s not gonna be any fighting here on my part. Just a veteran trying to see how he stands against who are more traditional(or non traditional) students.
Also, does anyone happen to know how the financial aid package UCI compares to UCR’s?
@UCmethere thank you for the input. I wonder how effective my experiences will be, especially at the undergraduate level. While I do place a heavy emphasis on my insight question responses (and I do mean heavy), I question whether or not it will be good enough as I perceive college to be reserved for the academically elite. I do hope I wrote my responses well enough to warrant an admission decision.

@DocAzure Thank you for serving! You have as good of a chance as any of us. I do believe UCI has a veterans program (most schools do) so I think the process may be a little different (?) not sure quite honestly. The reason I believe so is because it asks on the application if you served so I’m sure that is taken into consideration.
@TransferCS Your comments have been extremely upsetting to read; I understand that you’re stressed but we’re ALL stressed so you need to calm down and please stop projecting your insecurities on everyone else.
@Xenomyte I had the same question and asked around since I was sure it was supposed to say pending? But a lot of people’s portals seem to all say their applications have been received so I think we’re good!
I think that @TransferCS is definitely the most insecure person on this thread, and it seems like he’s got a good reason, as he cannot even communicate his thoughts in a coherent manner; I, frankly, was not even able to comprehend what he was talking about in his posts. @DocAzure here seems to have done and seen more than most of us ever will, so I wish him best of luck in his college admissions, and also not to listen to silly comments from people that clearly don’t know what they are talking about.
