@babysnow I had friends in the exact same position when we were applying as freshmen. If you SIR to UCR and you get accepted into UCI, if you SIR to UCI, you’ll have to pay a fine for voiding your SIR to UCR. However, if you wait and don’t SIR to UCR and you don’t get off the waitlist, you would lose your spot to riverside.
@babysnow i think i was waitlisted for two weeks at UCI? no, don’t SIR yet, because the fee is non-refundable. you have until the month to SIR anyway. accept the waitlist and hopefully they’ll get back to you soon!!!
@babysnow the SIR fee at UCR is $250 so I wouldn’t recommend doing that if you’re leaning towards UCI.

Hi guys, does anyone know if there’s a separate event for Transfer Admits? Like UCI Transfer day? Where we can go, tour, ask questions etc etc like UCSD has? Aside from the “open house” day this Saturday?

@jrobles88 I keep checking too! I already annoyed UC Irvine Admissions and UCI’s main account on Facebook, asking them if there is a projected date for the admissions
