@frkfr93 what do you mean by complicated? I applied for Econ too and mine was complicated as well haha. Just curious.
@sodapop111 it’s really stupid. I talked to a counselor at UCSB and they did say only 70 units transfer over but it still affects your standing. I know Cal Poly is a different system but I got accepted as a senior there.

I forgot to withdraw from a private uni 2 years ago due to illness and financial troubles. Withdrew late and got 2 Fs and they weren’t willing to change those grades. I’m not sure if those courses were UC transferable that’s why its complicated for me to calculate my actual GPA. With those Fs I have a 3.63. Without them I have a 3.83 (15 As and 2Bs in a top California CC.) I think I was safe either way tho haha but I have my eyes set on UCSD more than UC Irvine.

@BackNSchool83 so if we didnt get accepted today does that mean we are rejeted? How was it in the past? Do they send all acceptances and once or is it spread out? Im curious if they sent out all the acceptances already since its near the end of april
@bollege101 What do you mean when you say sophomore? To apply as a transfer, you need apply as a junior. However, if you’re referring to someone who applied after spending one year at a community college/UC, I was accepted today (1 year at a CC).
@gool456 the UC system does offer sophomore transfers to a few UC’s. It is for applicants with 30 credits or less. What was your GPA and major if you don’t mind me asking?
Sorry, I had no idea that some UC’s did that! My GPA is 4.0 and I was accepted as a Sociology major.
One of my transfer conditions states that I needed to maintain a 2.0 for my last semester at community while I see that other people needed a 3.0. Can Someone clarify on why theres a difference. I got in for Civil engineering btw with a 3.64 gpa. Thank you!
