*OFFICIAL* UF Class of 2020 Applicant and Decision Thread

@CCSenioritis Do you have AP/IB credit or anything? I think that could be the reason you and I got into Summer instead of fall. Congrats bro, I’ll see you in the summer!!! (or maybe fall, who knows)

@ILikeYogurt I don’t think it has anything to do with how many credits you have

D was accepted for summer B, HS/AA with a 27 ACT!
Had hoped she could continue at her CC this summer, off the UF as a junior at age 17 - go girl!
Major, Civil Engineering

@wolves98 are you in-state?

@sak312 @ILikeYogurt Yes I am in-state and I definitely did not get up to 9 AP Credits so that’s probably why. Either way, I’m super excited!!! Hopefully I’ll see you there!

@mathgirlbff I got the same thing, does anyone know if maybe it’s just after hours? Or has the site become overcrowded and they can’t load our decision? Also @mathgirlbff did you possibly turn any part of your information in late? We might just have to wait until Monday unfortunately

Those who got into Summer B, what was your major? I have a feeling that has something to do with it. I put ME but will probably change to CS

@ILikeYogurt somer B start jun 27

I’m in summer b but I don’t know if I want to appeal. After reading a lot about summer b and how it might help to get to know people and familiarize before the rush I’m kind of into it. I’m just torn though. @ILikeYogurt i applied to engineering and have ok stats 3.7 uw 4.3 w, 2030 sat

I GOT ACCEPTED!!! SUMMER B! I’ll post stats later for everyone else wondering how they stack up

Got rejected. I don’t know why, even though my SAT was a bit lower than most of you guys (1700). I am Asian adopted by French parents that never went to college, so I’m first generation. I am ranked as #1 of 32, always have been a valedictorian (even though my class is small, there is some competition). My weighted GPA is 4.81 and unweighted is 4.0. I am also taking the baccalaureate, French one more specifically… Had over 300 hours of community service hours… Vice President of NHS/NJHS, one of the leads of SGA (student government association), part of the French Honor Society… Also did other extra curricular activities while handling a job. I just don’t understand :frowning: My classes for the baccalaureate should be translated as AP’s, but I think the level is even higher than the AP’s. Anyways congrats to the new gators !

@InStateEngineer Pretty sure Dual Aerospace/ME is ridiculously hard, like highly recommended not to do that I think. Either way, congrats will hopefully see you at UF! @satfordays I’m the same way, not sure if I want to change to fall, most of my friends seem to have fall so who knows. Time to find roommates, huh?

Alot of schools want to see leadership positions and sometimes its just a lottery. Really sorry about your rejection.
