Official UGA Fall 2009 Transfer Thread

<p>Thought I would start this thread for prospective transfer students waiting to either get accepted or denied to UGA. Today 4-16-09 I was accepted after waiting roughly 4-½ months; applying back in mid January after the Fall 08 semester at my school. UGA is my top choice, but since OOS tuition plus room and board is hovering around $33000 I have to see how much they’ll fork over to me before I make my final decision with my back up school being Niagara University or possibly SUNY Buffalo.</p>

<p>Now a break down of stats:</p>

<p>Current college- Niagara County Community College, Overall GPA 3.58
Fall07 (1st semester) 3.08 GPA
Spring08- 3.50 GPA
Summer08(two classes)- 4.00 GPA
Fall08- 3.87 GPA
Projected Spring09- 3.40-3.60
Total credits(earned+current)-63</p>

<p>Hope this info can be of assistant to students currently applying to UGA for transfer admission and for future transfer students.</p>
