@PCMguy‌ It is what it is man…Whadidt do you think you’re even going to do? I think Math and CS is fine for me as they have all of the same classes until like 5th semester. At the point I can try to transfer as long as I have an A- in 2 Cs classes

And same view on the program. Are you my lost twin? @emshadez‌
Haha. Same man. I got to decide between UT-Austin and this now and if I get lucky with any other big ones in March.

Other:
State: TX
Country (if international applicant):
School Type: International
Ethnicity: Asian
Gender: Male
Income Bracket: Unsure
Hooks: N/A… I think i was pretty well rounded i guess.

Reflection:

Strengths: Recommendations from my HL math teacher and SL english gave me a good wide scope I think.
Weaknesses: SAT, ACT
Why you think you were accepted/deferred/rejected: Probably from the aforementioned recs.
Where else were you accepted/deferred/rejected: Accepted TAMU, Denied Stanford, Deferred GTech

People keep talking about their strengths being their letters of recommendation, however, Illinois doesn’t take letters of recommendation and actually say they shred them. So people, that means you are getting in on your own merits, not by letters of rec!

I also got an email yesterday around 3 am saying that my status has been changed. I wanted to check the portal, but the link doesn’t work. I go to myAdmissions link, but the page never shows up and says that “cannot connect to the server.” I don’t think that it’s a wifi problem, because my internet works perfectly fine. I’ve been anxious to check it since last night, but the page still isn’t showing up…
