Wolfwing123 you are correct, you enter a first year engineering program and have to do well there, but aerospace is really Purdue’s flagship engineering program,though many others are very good too.
@pray1974 Yeah. I didn’t apply there. Although I’m gonna work hard in college, I’d really like to have the safety of being in my major. I don’t wanna get into another mini admission process later after all that we’re doing this year.

Do I have a realistically good shot?
After all, Illinois is the last place i wanna go, so cold and in the middle of nowhere
@elay1202 Urbana is in the middle of nowhere, but I’m fairly certain Chicago is only a train-ride away. It is cold as heck though; my friend’s friend goes there, and they were getting snow in early Dec.
