*Official UNC Fall 2010 Transfer Thread*

I just called and talked to a councilor…Tomorow after 5 will be the final time…

P.s. anyone wanna fill me in on whats going on with PIDs? I skipped reading :D

@unctransfer- I clicked on the link that uncsoph posted above, and was able to enter my last name and either PID number and gain access to some portal.

@JesseG - Lol, reading back through the last few pages would be the easiest for understanding.

And I cannot find myself in the directory.

I partially did…

So far I can confirm: I have one PID, am signed up for Biology major as pre-med concentration, Nothing new on other than just the same old “order a laptop”, Can’t create an onyen, and can’t wait for tomorrow after 5.

What do other people get when they enter their PID numbers into this site?:

Thank you for logging into Applicant Central at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. We have identified the following services that are currently available to you. To use these services, please click on the icon below. Again, thank you for visiting.

If you apply for admission to the university, you may receive access to services through Applicant Central at various points after you submit your application. The presence or absence of links to specific services on your portal within Applicant Central does not indicate that you have been or will be admitted. Admission decisions are communicated only in writing and only by the respective admissions office.

If you need to update information and are unable to locate a menu item previously available on this website, please go to the portal. If you need to update information that is not available through the portal, please contact the Office of the University Registrar at (919)962-3954.

And a link to buy laptops

I get the same message.

I see the same thing.

same here, i have the order your laptop link.

what does that mean?

Let’s just all assume it means we’re admitted. ;)

It means what it says; it means nothing! Nor does the 2 PIDs I don’t believe. If they said you need to contact someone to fix it, it’s an error (Hopefully one that doesn’t affect anything). We’ll see tomorrow after 5 I guess.

nah everyone gets that, once you click on it it says that they cant determine your eligibility if i remember

Have you guys tried with your Social Security Number?(Because there are 2 methods to login: SSN and PIDS)? Does it work?

Tried, and no it doesn’t. I think since the past 2 years, they’ve cracked down on early determinations through these means. And they’re just REEAAAALLLLYYY slow.

2 PID’s does seem strange though. maybe you submitted your application twice or they used it to seperate applicants into groups. has anyone checked on old threads or talked to anyone that transfered in to see if their LEGIT PID was the same as the one that they were originally given by admissions when they submitted their app?

phew, i thought i got denied :)) Good luck everybody!!!

Ahhhhhh I can’t wait anymore :(( (26 hours left). I have to keep spamming this thread while waiting on that.

who all has only one PID… i just wanna make sure i’m not alone, even if it doesn’t mean anything… and i’m glad to know we find out tmw for sure…

I only have one…with a strong ass app :P

alright cool… as long as I have good company with me… damn I can’t believe tomorrows the day… whatever happens happens…

I’m still holding onto a little hope that they will be like… Just kidding! We will tell you today at 5:00!
