@science2015 I’m pretty sure unless you’re failing or have a couple D’s that your app won’t get rescinded

@pianogeek ideally, you should convince yourself now that there’s no chance you’ll get in, so it won’t be as much of a problem later

^^^ That’s what I am doing. It has worked so far but of course the real test is on the 15th #-o

Is there anyone here applying to Penn for social science/humanities stuff? I only see science/engineering/business applicants here!

Yes! I’m applying to CAS with the intent to major in economics.

Is anyone here applying to the nursing school?

I’m CAS undecided but hinted towards music in my essays. Anyone else?

@HvePassion I applied to CAS for Psychology. No business or engineering here!

I’m applying for the PPE major! Philosophy, politics, and economics

International Relations/gender studies for me!

I put down Political Science! Actually, after SCOURING my application, I happened to overlook the major. I had put down Economics in like August and forgot to change it. I emailed them maybe 10 minutes after sending the application and they replied the next day saying the change has been made. Still a little freaked out though

I applied as a Political Science major but I’m thinking more PPE now.

I applied for Economics but I might change that to PPE later. Plan on double majoring in Econ/PPE and Sociology. I want to take some courses in French/French Studies too.
Has anyone noticed how Economics and Political Science have become such popular majors compared to science and engineering a few years ago? Everyone seems to want to study economics now. I’m kind of wondering that when we graduate, there will be a saturation of econ major students.

biochem here! anyone else? :D

hi everyone! i’m new to the thread. just had my interview at noon today!

Today? Isn’t that too late? The deadline for interviewers to submit interview reports was 28th November.
Anyway, how did it go? Hope it went well.

Hrm seems like Political Science is a more popular major than International Relations…I always thought it was the other way around.

That just affirms how unimportant interviews are to admissions.

I am just wondering that does Penn receive the November SAT scores?

is anyone else astrophysics here?
