@benisgold I emailed them too. I reported my score in it. I know they don’t accept emails for official scores but they replied by saying that it’s been added to my file.
@EvaW2013 I’m from Pakistan

Do you guys think decisions have already been made?

From what I’ve heard this is how the admissions process works for most places. Initially they decide whom to accept, reject and put in an undecided pile. By now, I think they’ve decided the acceptances and rejections and would be re-evaluating the undecided pile to decide whom to accept, reject and defer from that pile. But that’s mere conjecture. The actual situation behind the scenes could be very different.
Do you guys think there’s prescreening of files and the shortlisted ones are considered by the adcom? I’ve heard Harvard does that. The files pertaining to a particular region are prescreened by regional officers. They shortlist applicants and only forward those files to the admissions committee for final consideration.

I visited Penn yesterday and one of the admissions officers said they are currently laboring over the ED apps, so I think it’s safe to say that they are not done deciding who to accept, reject, etc. at the moment.

Yeah I think they are most likely sorting out the undecided pile. I think Penn does do prescreening.

@lenayd How was it? It sucks not being able to actually visit colleges that I’m applying to because of being an international student.

@cstbzksfmgv It’s so beautiful. Do you have a Facebook? I can send you pictures I took! Locust Walk is the best part of campus in my opinion as it reminds me of Central Park (I’m from NYC). We also toured the inside of one of the main Wharton buildings which was also incredibly beautiful. Again, I can send you pictures if you’d like. This was my second visit at Penn so I pretty much know the tour by heart if you want me to give you a “virtual tour” haha.

@lenayd Sure! That’d be great. Should I PM you my profile link?

It shows that upenn hasn’t received my NOV sat score yet. I’m a bit worried. Anyone has same problem?
I just looked at the comments above. Which email address did you guys use to contact UPENN?

What email address did you send to?

Does it mean anything if Penn processed your Nov scores super early? Like they wanted to see your scores first or something?

@qqTTpp i think the email for office of admissions is info@admissions.upenn.edu

Guys this thread has over 104,000 views. Can you say we’re a little anxious?! I’ve spent the entire day stressing over this and we still have 8 full days left…

anyone knows whether upenn is still updating that applicants status page?
and do they accept any material after dec 1? like nov sat?
and is there anyone whose nov sat havent been received yet?

@pianogeek we are super anxious. I just check back every 30 minutes to see if there is something I am missing or anything. I really can not get anything done (I have IB IAs and semester exams coming up). Whatever happens in 8 days 19 hours 44 minutes we have to move on.

@qqTTpp The general consensus is that they received the scores but did not update their application portal. I think that they have your score but you can email them just to check. However, I assume they are really busy finalizing decisions!

@pianogeek the only ivies that beet us are Harvard (219K) and Cornell(119.3K) The others are:
Brown(56.9K)
Columbia(39.2K)
Dartmouth(23.9K)
Yale(66.9K)
Princeton(75.2K)

@Millian but i didn;t choose to rush my score

Score rushing is only for people who didn’t send scores until AFTER they were released.

i emailed upenn on friday and asked them if they have my nov sat and ap, but they only replied that they have my ap

Hvepassion: did you send SAT-I or 3RD SAT-II to Upenn?
