****OFFICIAL University of Pennsyvlania CLASS OF 2019 ED Applicants Discussion Thread****

Can anyone suggest good songs to help with studying?

Is anyone else dying? I wish they would do what Princeton does and email the decisions. I figure by now they have already made all the decisions, and it kills me that someone out there knows if I’m in or not. Can’t believe it’s less than a week away though! So nervous.

If the quotient rule you wish to know,
its low d-high less high d-low.
Draw the line and down below,
denominator squared will go.

I wish they would mail decisions so we didn’t know EXACTLY when we will find out. Ignorance is bliss. I don’t want to be able to count down the minutes until I know. :frowning:

I’m already stocking up on food so if I’m accepted I can eat for joy and if I’m deferred/rejected I can eat my sorrows away. Eating is the answer, folks

@PhysicsisPhun15‌ countdown will probably be inaccurate because they’re not going to post everyone’s at exactly 5 (I’m not expecting until 6 at least) This is just based on seniors applying early at my school in past years

Hey guys so I just realized I didn’t put include fact that I was National Merit Scholar Commended. That doesn’t really mean much right? I figured it wasn’t a big deal until a friend of mine brought it up…

@Turbanator‌ I almost forgot to put it too. But I don’t think they really care especially if your SAT scores are higher than your PSAT equivalent

Thanks for making me feel better. Yea my SAT is a 2260 and my ACT is a 34 composite. I won’t email UPenn then (not like it would do much haha)

@‌pianogeek

thank you!
it’s really scary haha

I got another problem though.
I applied for an econ class at penn and took it for 2 months until I withdrew about a month ago. I did put it as a class that I was taking on my common app. Do you think Penn would find out and would I get punished for it? I was failing the class…I had sooooo much to do, both in school and home wise. My program advisor told me it wouldn’t but still…

That just goes to show test scores aren’t everything. I also applied early to penn with similiar scores and same major!!! Congrats!!! @Amabel21‌

I’ve been lurking for a while, but finally decided to make an account. Did anybody else apply to Huntsman, and if so, what language?

This has probably been one of the most stressful weeks so far this year. Don’t know if I’ll be alive by Monday to view my decision!

The VS fashion show definitely helped alleviate stress and distract me for a bit

Anyone on this thread play ping-pong? Because I’ve been playing nonstop for the past month or so to take up my time, and I’ve been getting damn good. If we get accepted, I welcome any challenges fo-sho

will the portal go down at some point?

Ohmg

I just had a nap and dreamed about opening up my Penn applicant portal…and found out I was rejected

Ohmg so ominous

Getting kind of antsy for decisions… Monday can’t come soon enough! @TAKOBE11‌ Sure if i hone up my ping pong skills back to par…

Kind of worried about my standardized test scores…do you think that they would look at my application more unfavorably if my ACT is a 35 but I never hit 2200 on my SAT?
