@Remi56783 If admitted, I’ll first take some time to digest it. Then I’ll think about listening to some song
But probably, something upbeat and instrumental.
If rejected, I’ll just try to put myself to sleep.
My friends have a great plan for D-Day. If anyone gets rejected, they’ll all show up at their door with their favorite food. We’re doing this for everyone in my group of friends. Should make the day better than it would be otherwise.

Haha I like your song choices @Remi56783
If accepted, any goofy song that I can freak dance to, like “I’m Sexy and I know it”, “I’m on top of the world” (Imagine Dragons), or “Best Day of My Life” (American Authors).
If denied, here comes the sappy music: “Wake me up” by Avicii (cover by Madliyn Bailey is amazingg), “Bones” by Young Guns, and “Lost Stars” Adam Levine version

That’s seriously the coolest idea!

@priya97 what do you mean by 5/7? IB score? I’m talking about GPA. None of our IB scores affect our transcript grades. On the 4 point scale, an A in SL is worth 1.125 the normal and HL and AP get multiplied by 1.25. So if you take all AP and/or HL max GPA is a 5.0 on a 4.0 scale.

My friends were literally telling me yesterday they know I’ll play/sing Let It Go if I’m denied

@Millian I’m not international! I’m a U.S. Citizen. Does that help?

Is a 40 Ib total, 33 ACT and 750 Math2 too low for Wharton? My EC’s and leadership are outstanding. Like world class. Im only worried about my stats. Do they seem ok?

@TAKOBE11 Yes! That helps (if you are not rich). For US citizens, I believe that it is need-blind admissions. I have heard that for international applicants lacking greencard or citizenship, Princeton gives the best financial aid package. Penn loves their millionaires!

@pianogeek I got in as well too… they are really glitchy for some reason … makes me extra anxious!

Just made an account here, getting pretty nervous haha. 6 days left… good luck everybody! I’m applying to Arts & Sciences, undecided.

I don’t plan on listening to a song, but I’ll probably sleep after I find out, either way- it’ll be a Victory Nap or a Nap of Sadness :p

I don’t think that we are allowed to post links here but I am sure you can go on youtube and find a reaction video of someone getting accepted to Harvard! This girl puked all over the floor because she got accepted. That will probably be me.

@al786110 how “world class” are they

@al786110 If you are Asian, then I think your stats are probably not going to be in your advantage. An act of 34+ and a math II score of 800 would be better. But admissions are holistic so if your extracurriculars are as world class as you say, your numbers are definitely good enough.

that video was fake @Millian

@HvePassion why would you say he/she is Asian?

@antsyapplicant It is hard to deny that Asians are competing within a very self selective pool. UPenn definitely looks for diversity, so there is a cap to how many Asian applicants they can accept. That being said, Asian applicants usually have the highest standardized test scores, so if you are competing within that group, it will benefit you to have high test scores as well.

@Millian I just watched the video and I’m in fits right now. It’s hilarious! Parents can be so embarrassing at times. The hugged her before she even cleaned herself

I literally check my Penn portal every 30 mins even though I know nothing is there. Kms

check inbox!

@Remi56783 Accepted: Over the hills and far away - Led Zeppelin
Deffered: Ob-la-di Ob-la-da - The Beatles
Rejected: Father and Son - Cat Stevens

@al786110 what inbox?

@dance102897 i guess as much as they say having one of the less common target languages helps, having a really common one will by no means hurt you if it isn’t your first language. Especially if that target isn’t the only one you know besides English (not sure if you have a third.) like I said, I’m pretty sure nothing will take you out of the running as long as you have overseas/international experience. They said that’s really the only thing that’ll kill chances. But even then I’m sure it’s not a 100 percent thing. I guess we shall see
