You’re right that a lack of letter doesn’t mean lack of victory for those who submitted all their stuff. But the lack might mean rejection for those who didn’t submit their forms, and thus should merit a “missing financial aid info” email.

Considering not a single person on this thread has attested to receiving the letter (unless I missed someone), we should not be looking at that at all.

Hi all, I too am an ED applicant, specifically to CAS for Biochemistry (hinted at pre-med in supplement). I won’t go into gory detail but I’d say I’m a well rounded applicant with a strong set of grades, scores, ECs, CA, essay, supplement, and interview, and I wish you all the best of luck! Monday can’t come soon enough :o

@TrumpetOne same! CAS for biochem have you looked at their vagelos molecular life science program?

@TAKOBE11 yup, you’re on and I’d welcome challenges for foosball… been years since I’ve played it but I think I can get the hang of it again, and it’s really fun. Does Penn have a foosball club?

I took the SAT for the third time this November and rushed it in after I found out my score (along with my regular decision schools). Would Penn have considered it in my app?

@science2015 Wow, thought it’d be a rare major I have, I like the idea of a 4 year chemistry MS!

@olasko I received the following email on October 24:
Dear Prospective Penn Student:

This email acknowledges receipt of 2015-2016 Financial Aid application materials.

has anyone else gotten this one?

@indorilnerevar Ditto email received on the 18th of October.

@indorilnerevar Yup, got that one. I didn’t send in my CSS and 2013 taxes until 27 days after the “deadline” of November 3 (not on purpose), and the FinAid person on the phone was fine with it

Anyone with Biological Basis of Behavior as their intended major?

me!! @gk2015

@rigal97 so glad to finally hear from someone with the same major!! best of luck!

Thanks you too!!! It doesn’t seem like BBB is a very popular major, hopefully that works in our favor lol @gk2015

^ BBB is one of the most popular majors at Penn. But that doesn’t mean that a lot of applicants identify it as their intended major. Many–if not MOST–students end up majoring in something other than the intended major they identified on their applications.

any PPE (philosophy, politics and economics) ED applicants?

@TrumpetOne yeah, you’re the first person i’ve met who’s also biochem! i’m a bit befuddled by the vagelos MLS’s high drop-out rate though…hmm

@cater80 me!

@cater80 I didn’t apply as one but I’m thinking about it!

@olasko what do you mean? Haha I don’t understand the Q

@cater80 Not PPE but I’m doing History + Political Science which is also social sciences.
