Just to let everyone know, the missing documents email isn’t a myth. I got one just last week notifying me that I had a couple of pages missing. The thing is, I feel like they wouldn’t even look at my financial aid unless I got accepted… So maybe that’s a good sign!

As a senior who just received an acceptance to Bowdoin College, I want to wish all of you the best of luck no matter what decision you receive! You have all worked hard to get to where you are now, and whether or not you future is at UPenn, everything in the end will work out! Best of luck!!!

@latinbrain Lucky you! Congrats! Can you post the email so the rest of us can see?

love all the support on this thread. good luck to everyone hope everything works out for you guys, regardless of tomorrow’s decision :)

19 hours 24 minutes

@LatinBrain That sounds like a good sign for you! :)

Did you send in some of the forms already, just not all of them? I’m just trying to figure out why I wouldn’t have gotten one, as I didn’t send in any yet. The person that talked to me from the admissions office was very clear that the forms can be submitted after receiving the decision!

I think I’m gonna puke…
I know there’s nothing left to do but the idea of possibly having to let go Penn after tomorrow is breaking my heart.
I can’t stop thinking about this school. I really hope that tomorrow I can post that glorious status on Facebook saying I got accepted into my dream school and call all of my relatives and make my parents proud. I honestly wouldn’t be able to handle the happiness.

If it goes awry though, I’m gonna need some consoling, but I’ll be okay

@scarlettlovesivy I feel you girl.

@PassionIsAll If you haven’t handed in any of your forms, Penn will just assume that you will fill out the financial aid application later. In @LatinBrain and my case, we handed in our financial application, but was perhaps missing one or a few forms. In this case, you will receive a missing financial aid document email if you have been accepted, and you will most likely not receive one if you haven’t been accepted.

@HvePassion Lol thanks for calming my nerves! I still think it’s unlikely that Penn would give signals as to whether or not you were accepted, so I wouldn’t be discouraged if you didn’t get an email!

This is what the email said:

David,

We received your documents for financial aid consideration; however, the Penn Financial Aid Supplement and the Employment Information Forms are missing pages. Please resubmit these forms in their entirety … the PFAS has 4 pages and the EIF should have two pages.

Thank you.

How do we have some of the smartest people in the country applying to this school yet no one has figured out how to hack the decision portal?

So yeah, I’m just wondering why they would have looked through my forms unless I had been accepted.

@LatinBrain You most likely did get accepted :D

By the way, that email was sent to me Dec. 8.

Can’t sleep, eat, do homework, think, talk to my friends, or anything.
The only thing I wanna do is come on here and think about tomorrow, even though that’s the worst thing I could do.

@scarlettlovesivy LOL I’m in the middle of reading A Street Car Named Desire. I have to finish it and write an in-class essay on it tomorrow! Don’t know how I’m going to make it through the day haha.

@scarlettlovesivy I feel the exact same way. I have spent all today sitting in my bed, eating food, and stalking this thread/site. (Pathetic I know)

@PassionIsAll I also have an essay to write and an AP Physics test tomorrow that I’m just gonna blow off because my mind is just no there.

@pianogeek haha story of my life right now. Except I don’t have an appetite. My heart feels heavy and it feels like there’s a lump in my throat.

Does Penn admit low GPAers ED? Or is it kind of automatic deferral/reject. God I’m so worried.
